Pedrin's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in North Adams

Fantastic fried fish, but the chicken was a tad burned. I really enjoy this place, and the outdoor seating! Reminds me of those oceanside fish fry places. Friendly staff, except for one girl one time. My name was called to get my food, and I asked if I could have some salt. I didn't see any on the tray... and she snapped at me "IT SHOULD BE THERE"! I took the food back to the picnic table, and got food ready for my toddler, and went to prepare my food. No salt. So, I went back to the window that hands out the food, and of course no one was there. I politely tried to cut in front of the long line of people waiting to order, but I could tell by the looks I was getting... they weren't having it. SO... I had to get in the back of the line, and wait a good 10 minutes. I got to the front of the line, and it was the same girl. I said "yeah, there was no salt there". She literally rolled her eyes, sighed, and handed me ONE salt packet. I got back to my seat, and ALL of my food was soggy and cold. But, that was only one time. Since then, all of the condiments salta and pepper come with the food. But that one experience almost made it so I'd never want to go there again. I'd give this place 5 stars if it weren't for her, and the burnt chicken tender that I got one time. But it's a fish fry, not a chicken fry... so I should've...

Ill start with the good fries here are fantastic the fried fish is pretty good as well but its a gamble that you usually lose at on the size of fish that you get, its always 2 pieces sometimes they are a decent size and most of the time both pieces together are smaller than just one of the decent sized ones. If the price was $10 less there would be nothing to complain about however paying around $25 for fish and chips from a walkup food hut you should expect larger portions. Burgers here are small frozen patties with very little flavor not horrible but i wouldnt call them good or bad just ok. Hotdogs should be avoided unless you are ok with paying premium prices for very cheap hotdogs. The only thing from here i liked was the fish and chips the price vs food portion ratio is why i only give it two stars the quality of the fish n chips is what saved it from just one star so overall this place falls into one category;...
