Jake's Pizza — Restaurant in North Belle Vernon

Called my order in so I didn't have to wait on it when I got there. Gentleman was super friendly on the phone. First time trying their pizza so I had a question about the taco toppings. Newer to the area and haven't had the chance to explore all the pizza joints in the Mon Valley. Tonight I googled best pizza in Belle Vernon and Jake's came up. So I thought I'd give it a go. First, the pizza was done surprisingly quick. Second, the staff member that greeted me when I went in to pick up the pie was very friendly, so that's a plus. The pizza was decent. Nice crisp on the crust. The hoagie would have been better if it was dressed with oil and red wine vinegar instead of the golden Italian from the jug. A lot of places use that which is okay but the Italian hoagie would have helped the food rating. I think the dressing they use makes the sandwich average amd doesn't set it apart from the ordinary.
