Red Leaves Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in North Berwick

I had a decently big order and the wait was a bit longer then expected which is fine it happens.the people weren't exactly rude but also not exactly friendly.my biggest complaint is that every single thing we ordered tasted like it was taken out of yesterday's garbage.even the white rice was cold and weird textured.this was probably the worst Chinese food I've ever has do yourself a favor and get real food at green leaves in york their the best Also everything was wayyyyyy to salty to eat and non of the sauces tasted anything like they were supposed too I had to pick out the plain veggies and rice and threw the rest away and I don't think I've ever left a negative review on anyone ever as I am not a picky person but this food was just terrible I'd go to dunkin donuts and eat before I went back there and I hate fast food...better off with a...

I was always a little skeptical about stopping by, since the building is rather small (looks to be a renovated apartment) and never appeared that busy. However, I decided to stop by a year ago and this has been one of my favorite restaurants to visit ever since.

The restaurant is pretty small with only 5-6 tables, but that's not a huge issue since everything is geared towards ordering takeout (which is why from the outside the building never seems that busy). The food is very good and prices are on par with what I would expect for a small family run restaurant. The staff are also very friendly and nice to interact with.

I typically stop in once or twice a month and have never had any issues with the food or the experience. I would definitely recommend trying...

We ordered Sweet and Sour chicken... And it didn't come with the sweet and sour sauce! (We knew to check before we left because this happened last time we were there too!) My husband went in to ask for some, and was given a tiny to go container of it. When he came out with that I was like, "that little thing for the whole meal?!" So I went in to ask for a second one. The woman behind the counter argued with me. She didn't want to give me the sauce because she had just given my husband one. I ordered Sweet and Sour chicken FOR the sauce!
