The Tea House at the Lady Mary Inn — Restaurant in North Berwick

If I could rate more than 5 stars, I DEFINITELY would! What a lovely experience this was! I took my husby, Michael, for his first afternoon tea outing. We were met with a warm greeting from Ryan, one of the inn owners, who was also our host. The tea was exquisite and we very much enjoyed our sandwiches, scones and desserts. Perfection all the way! My favorite sandwich was the egg salad. I could have eaten a dozen more! Not a particular fan of scones in the past. These scrumptious little delights, all warm and toaaty straight from the oven were paired with clotted cream, homemade peach jam and a yummy lemon curd. Hubby laughed at me when I licked the serving spoons of these before the little delights were cleared from our table. We've made our next reservation already and I am going to tell all my friends about this wonderful place. This was my first time ever experiencing an afternoon tea and it was pleasant and relaxing. It was so lovely sitting in a room in the beautiful lobby of the Lady Mary Inn in North Berwick, Maine. Caroline was so attentive and kind. You could chose from a variety of teas. There was great descriptions and kinds of tea. Everything was thought of carefully and exceptional. We had the best experience at the Tea House at Lady Mary Inn! The tea was delicious and the food was excellent. Even better than all that was the service and personal attention we received. The Owner, Ryan, and our server, Nathan, were so friendly and personable. It really made the whole experience wonderful!
