While in Connecticut for a softball tournament at a nearby complex my boyfriend and I stumbled upon Poppy’s. We pleasantly surprised to find out there wasn’t a crazy wait to get a table. The second we walked in and we were greeted by Poppy himself and the kind waitresses. Our drink orders were taken immediately and our food shortly after that. Within 5 minutes our food, (eggs Benedict and two eggs over easy with bacon, hash browns and toast) was on the table and still burning hot! Everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. Poppy seemed like someone I would want to be best friends with.
