I rarely write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience in hopes that it leads to real change. This particular Bojangles location is by far the worst I’ve been to in North Carolina. The customer service is consistently poor, and the staff seem to lack basic courtesy and professionalism—especially in the mornings.
There’s a light-skinned woman who regularly takes orders during breakfast hours, and she’s consistently rude. The morning I visited, she acted annoyed and frustrated simply because I placed a large order. That kind of attitude makes customers feel like an inconvenience rather than being valued.
Later that same day, I returned for dinner and asked about ordering a Bo-Rito. The employee told me flatly, “No.” When I asked why not—especially since the sign clearly says “Breakfast All Day”—he said, “It’s 7 PM.” Then he changed his story and claimed they were “out of breakfast food.” That’s not just confusing—it’s a contradiction and felt like a lie. The store was not busy at all, so it seemed like the staff just didn’t want to put in the effort.
The morning manager hasn’t been any better. Rather than improving the experience, they seem to just add to the lack of care and leadership that’s clearly affecting the rest of the team. It’s unfortunate because the location is in a great area and has a lot of potential, but it’s being ruined by lazy service and a staff that doesn’t seem to care at all.
This type of customer service will not lead to growth, only complacency. Until something changes—especially with the attitude and leadership of the morning crew—I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this...
Read moreDon’t know where to start…. First visit- out of many items, no customer service, manager or shift leader on duty yelled at all the employees that if they don’t move they will get written up. Now for this place being so new and the type of leadership that was demonstrated was awful. You can tell many of the people there are young. Which is not a bad thing but the management needs to get better to lead these younger adults. Even with the window closed in the drive tru I could hear the shift or manager yelling at the workers like they were animals. Still got missing items. And left since the line was so long
Second visit - wanted to give this place a second try because It’s so close to us and convenient. Not to mention I have been a restaurant manager as well as a trainer manager for 5 years. First launches for new store are allways hard but if you have a good management that should show and so I decided to give it a second chance. Bad idea. You can tell they had plenty of staff again no since of direction for anyone working there. Messed up my order as well. To add out of many things I wanted. Got home and opene my chicken biscuit, and was hard as a rock. Simple old food!
Bottom line : will not go to this location anymore. It is very sad since this is a new location in a great area. Just a shame . Management staff needs to do better! Free advice from a trainer restaurant manager: bring in great management from different successful locations! Alternate training with the existing management there! Do not yell at employees like animals! Bc then if you have no team or workers you are...
Read moreAlthough this place is empty with only two customers in it.
The only person that waved and smiled was making biscuits. She's wearing glasses and a smile.
The other two well, they seem to not like their jobs and not smile that much on even interact with anyone except for order number and handing the tray over. Now I know they can smile cuz I hear them giggling in once a while.
If they actually read the the receipt which they must have no dining customers because everything they give is take out??
Normally I would just give three stars and call it a day but I feel like I'm bothering the employees while they work. I would say the atmosphere is very low.
Maybe bring the woman out to the register with the smile and the glasses. Maybe you'll get better warm reception.
Getting to the meal, I don't think they seasoned the chicken well. I don't add really hot sauce to Chicken unless it's from a Chinese food restaurant. The biscuit was the last thing I ate and it was decent it was...
