Cody's South — Restaurant in North Carolina

We're new to town. A neighbor had mentioned this place and thought we would check it out after dinner. It's a typical dive bar; dirty, dark, sticky floor, darts, and nothing fancy drinks (which is fine). So, if that's what you're looking for then have fun. BE ADVISED: I ordered one mixed drink and my wife got a water and a soda. The regulars were pretty hammered and almost bragging about how many DUI's they had and how often they don't get caught. We decided to tab out after our 1 drink because we weren't wanting to hang out there that night. I would have considered going back, but when I saw the credit card charge in the morning for $25 (which was not what was on the tab when I signed it). Update: I see now that they reversed part of the charge which is more in line with what I ordered. Perhaps...

There was feces all over the toilet seat, no soap no towels in the bathroom. Men's room was just as bad I heard. They didn't even have a bartender that knew what they were doing. They put the wrong liquor in your glass and then go oh I forgot you were drinking something else and just pour it in on top of other liquor. Really sketchy place. We came for the fun karaoke but this place is not worth driving to it's just sketchy at best. Some very drunk guy decided it was funny to lock a girl into the bathroom by holding his foot against the door. Real Class Act...

Soon as I and my other half entered around 12 at night there was a brawl going on with chairs and tables flipped over, bartender was in a frantic running around inside and out leaving the bar unattended after 30min of this went on I took my experience as a bouncer and walked them outside and told the trouble makers to leave and the ones staying to go inside. After that it calmed down as those who wanted trouble had left. Just seems to me this place needs a bouncer for this isn't the first time we have come here and...
