Update: 9/6/25 Something changed, theyāre crushing it now. Called in an order late on a Saturday morning expecting it to take awhile and it was ready in 10 minutes. As soon as we walked in someone asked my name and she picked my order out of a lineup of to-go bags. It was slammed in there and they were so organized. The bagel was the best one Iāve had in Wilmington. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up.
Original: 2023 Called an order in to save time and they said it would be a 10-15 wait. I got there in 10 minutes and paid. After 30 minutes I asked about my order and they said they were working on it. Another 15 minutes went by and another gentleman waiting reminded someone again for me because he noticed Iād been there longer than anyone. Suddenly the food was out in 5 minutes. The person working said the problem was no one told the kitchen when I arrived (after notifying someone twice). They donāt work on tickets as they are ordered, the make the food based on who arrives first. From someone who worked in the industry for years, that just puts you and everyone else behind. What is the point of ordering ahead? Something needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe BEST bagels I've had outside of NY (and possibly anywhere). There are quite a few tasty bagel options in the Cape Fear area. But these are hands down THE BEST. the sunflower seed everything bagel is everything for me. I am relocating to the Raleigh area and I am going to miss this spot so bad. Bonus: they always have lots of people working somehow despite all the hiring shortages so even though they get slammed on weekend mornings, the wait is never bad. Double-bonus: Lactose intolerant but love bagels like me and cream cheese gets you down? They have multiple (actually not only edible but delectable) vegan cream cheeses. Plus lots of other veg/vegan options that I have not tried but appreciate. My stomach is grumbling just thinking about Seaside bagels! Please open more locations throughout NC (specifically in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese are by far the best bagels in the greater Wilmington area. The New York State of mind breakfast sandwich is perfect, loaded with eggs, bacon and cheese. It's well worth the $5 and change. The only gripe is that you're going to wait for one of these delicious bagels in the morning. Everything is made to order super fresh and it definitely takes a toll on the drive-thru time. So build in a couple extra minutes for one of these excellent bagels. This place has become a staple for our family looking for something close to a true NY bagel experience. Word of caution though. Make your coffee purchase at your favorite coffee shop. The coffee here leaves a bit to be desired. But who cares the bagels are amazing. Order a NY state of mind on an everything bagel with pepper jack cheese. You won't be...
