Went to this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriends graduation from Cape Fear and our night took a disastrous turn. The service was absolutely terrible. The sweet tea had so much sugar in it it could have put someone in a diabetic coma. We ordered two burgers off the menu and the server and kitchen gave us the wrong order 3x. The cook said the server put the order in wrong and the server said the cooks made the wrong order. The server name was Jess and she seemed unconcerned, gave an insincere apology and lacked sympathy for her mistakes. She never introduced herself, she didn’t check on us to see how our food was, or ask us if we needed anything. She approached the table and only asked, “what do y’all want to order?” It was as if she was rushing us to leave. She only had 1 table(us) and there was a total of 6 people in the restaurant. She seemed more concerned with talking to the other servers than to do her job correctly. Also, the server didn’t ask us for the temperature of our burgers and mine and my bf was extremely pink in the middle and soggy, which can be harmful since I am pregnant. I took a couple of bites before I noticed this so I am praying I am okay but have had stomach cramps since. Obviously there was no real communication between the server and the kitchen staff. We did not have any crazy modifications because we ordered the burgers as they came on menu. I lost my appetite and my bf took his burger to go. Very disappointed ☹️

Dont go here hungry and order take out. I work "on the go" and dont have time to sit down in a bar/restaurant. I got the chicken and pineapple philly. The taste was great but I paid $15 for a 6" sub and I was still hungry afterwards. There is only one size of everything. There is only one size of drink to go, "small" Cheaping out on take out cups of soda is really the wrong way to go. I would gladly pay $4 for a 28oz to 32oz cup. I feel like take out orders get smaller portions. The foil wrapped around the sub made it a bit soggy. I cant sit down for lunch in a bar. I guess I should have gotten a burger but the photos online made the sub I ordered look like the way to go. I could have spent the same amount of $$$ at Firehouse Subs and had a bigger sandwich with more to drink plus no foil wrapped tightly around my sandwich. Will I go back? Most likely not. . Oklahoma Burgers has bigger portions on their take out menu and bigger drink sizes. Sorry Angus Grill at least you have your Bar to fall back on. Im sure alcohol sales balance out the budget with the strict portion control on food. My sandwich was very tasty but very very small. I work in the Myrtle Grove area almost everyday and would love to include this place on my lunch break but need a meal not an appetizer.

So good!!! If you have been driving past this place, but still haven't been here yet, you are MISSING OUT. Everything here that we have tried is impressively good. Their Caesar and garden salads were both made well with very tasty, fresh ingredients. The Hawaiian chicken cheesesteak and chicken club sandwich are the best we have ever had (recurrent but completely accurate theme in this review--be forewarned). The onion rings are crispy perfection--the best I have ever had. Save room for these if you are also a fan. We have heard so many rave reviews from neighbors and they're all true. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Everyone working here is friendly and greets you when you come in the door. Danielle has been our server multiple times, and she goes above and beyond, as does Maddie. Yes, this restaurant building used to be a Highway 55/Andy's, but it was converted into something infinitely better. If you dine here, you will not be disappointed. Our friendly, energetic server Brandi made sure our drinks were always full. The fried pickles with ranch were the BEST EVER, my chicken cheesesteak and side salad were excellent. Buffalo chicken wrap was also good with side Caesar salad.
