Crab Du Jour Xpress Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in North Carolina

Went in on a Saturday evening , very quiet atmosphere, def not crowded. I ordered the oyster Po boy sandwich which came with an option of sweet potato fries, regular fries, or Cajun fries. The food was ready within 15 minutes to go. The oysters were fried to perfection! They were tender on the inside with a nice crispy crust on the outside, on a bed of lettuce and tomato and perfectly toasted hoagie bread. The only reason I gave four stars is because, they were not as many oysters as I would have hoped for. There may have been six oysters on my po boy sandwich and for 13 bucks I was definitely hoping for more.Cashier was friendly,which is nice when trying a new place. Outside of that, I will go back again and try something different, not sure if that was an isolated incident or that is typical of their serving...

I wish that I thought twice and followed my gut feelings and did not order anything from this restaurant. I was there yesterday 23 May 2022. I ordered the # C combo the corn was over cooked. The sausage was missing. When I called about it the girl said that they didn’t know if they put the sausage in the bag or not and that I could come back and get the sausage. The snow crabs seem to have been heated up over and over again that they were brown. The lobster as well. It was not fresh seafood that was cooked. It was also gritted from sand. This is the worst seafood that I have ever been served. I’m from Maryland and I know what good seafood is. What a waste. I didn’t bother to go back and get the sausage. Went on the night of Jan 5,2021 and ordered my daughter a 1 pound of king crab for her Birthday meal! I added more potatoes, eggs..order was around $70.I received 3 skimpy legs that had bare airy shells with shredded small Meat inside!I knew when looking in bag... picking up order...it didn't nearly look King size,I wanted to ask for refund on spot!!Crab is half the size of Raleigh Crab house king crab legs!Daughter did not enjoy,she wanted more meat!In Raleigh, she can't even finish king legs..cause of thick full pieces!!Complete waste of money!!Was ripped off!!!
