Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

We’ve had take out pizza from this Domino’s before, and it was good. We decided to order two sandwiches in the app for pick up at the drive-thru. When we got home, we opened the boxes to find one sandwich and an order of “cheddar bacon loaded tots” that were very burnt instead (see photo). I called the manager and he offered to either refund or replace the sandwich (I chose replace).

Returned to store’s drive-thru to pick up missing sandwich and I showed manager the burned tots. He shrugged and said they always burned because the cheese melts off the tots in the oven. He apologized for the mix-up and gave me my missing sandwich but I was disturbed by his cavalier attitude and the laughs from the employees behind him that had overheard.

Went back home and ate our sandwiches. Honestly, they were very good, definitely better than expected, with plenty of fillings and good fresh bread.

Ordered the 2 medium pizzas, bread bites, cinnamon twists, and 2 Lt sprite for $20 to be delivered. On the pizza tracker it sat in quality control from 30 minutes before it finally got picket up for delivery. Quality control is maybe 2 minutes then put on a warming rack to wait until it goes out for delivery. I normally do my orders as pickup and I will be doing so no matter what again. 20 minutes to get delivered as well. That mean my food will be out of the oven for a total of 50 minutes before it even gets to me. If you order from this Dominos make sure to just go pick it up.

04-28-2024 This is now edited to add this. I just ordered 2 large 2 topping pizzas and they came out great. The 16pc parm bites nice and hot. The only issue with my order now is the 16pc bite didn't come with the marinara sauce. I didn't think anything of it when they gave me the boxes. I just thought they put the sauce inside one of them. Drove home and went for the bites and no sauce in any of them. What a waist. Eating them plain now I guess and not worth driving all...

Called and listened to the recording of the specials. First special the girl says two large two topping pizzas for $10.99. So when the guy gets on the phone, I ask to be sure is there a special for two large two topping pizzas for $10.99? He says yes. I order two large two topping pizzas, go back-and-forth with misunderstandings about toppings and pizza crusts, three or four minutes later give my credit card number three or four times because people are yelling in the background and he can't hear me, then finally he tells me the total is $28 and it will take an hour to get to my house. I told him just to cancel the whole thing. Don't waste your time! It's cheaper, faster, and tastes better to just get frozen pizzas at the grocery store and bring them home...
