My son, his wife, and I stopped at Hardee's in North Carolina when we were traveling to see my son. It was a difficult visit. It seemed that the cashier was maybe new because she definitely did not know what to do on the register. The manager who was already very busy had to come to the front to complete our order. I really felt bad for the cashier because she didn't not have a clue. When we got our biscuits my daughter-in-law's biscuit looked like it had been stepped on. It was smushed and the biscuit was falling apart on half of it. I went to the front to ask for another one and the cashier was now a male. He seemed to be doing better than the female. When I told him I needed another biscuit however I do not believe that he told anyone in the back. And he just threw the biscuit in the trash. I waited and appropriate amount of time and did not leave the register counter. After a time I asked if my biscuit was ready and he told me it was in the bag on the counter. That was not my bag because it had french fries in it. So I told him this. He never called the name for the customer whose food was sitting on the counter. I heard him say in a low voice that it belong to Matt. I turned around and said Matt your order is up. I say this just to say that things were not running smoothly. I did get a new biscuit and it was fine. I'm sure these problems are because of needing employees. Employees are probably coming and going so quickly that the manager does not really have a chance...

We were the only car in the drive-thru and there was nobody in the dining room. We ordered combo meals for four people. We paid and were asked to pull up from the window. Our food didn't come out until 17 minutes later. Normally I'm understanding about these things, but given how not busy it was and then how incredibly rude the employee was who brought out our food I am not as forgiving. When you keep people waiting that long you should at least offer some sort of an apology, as opposed to treating us like it was our fault. Additionally, you would think the wait would be because they were cooking food for us, but all of our sandwiches and fries were lukewarm best. I will never visit this...

But if I tell them no onions, or lettuce or whatever they don't take any amount off the bill. It's not just here, it's everywhere. The mushroom sits burger hastily has anything on it. Since they want to be stingy with it..... that's fine... that's their prerogative. I'll start making my own mushroom series at home. Not only will it cost less but it will taste better. I've quit eating out for the most part because of these reasons. I just really wanted a mushroom Swiss burger. I was not aware they stopped putting the amount on that they used to.
