Jin Jin — Restaurant in North Carolina

For real? I read through almost 200 reviews here, and only seen one negative review. I F* knew I should've listened to her! I grew up in the "hood" and the best place to eat was Chinese take out. No one spoke a word of English except for one girl at the counter, and the only sentences she knew were, "tank you, preez." And " It be ten minute ready for you.". At Jin Jin I didn't see one Asian person. I thought okay, but the reviews were all great, so it has to be at least some-what decent. Wrong. I got the pepper chicken, but really it was just a little couple of small pieces of chicken and two Bell peppers, and a whole large onion diced, and sauteed in Duck sauce and a half a cup of fried rice. My Crab Rangoon was imitation crab from a can. Tasted like black pepper and tuna. Gross af, and that's usually my favorite. Portions where decent, but not like other places. All in all, it was shite. I'd rather fight i77 traffic and drive to NY in cornelius. So...

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the sweet and sour shrimp. To be honest i kind of thought they were pig feet at first glance, but after further investigation they were massive dough balls with two baby strips/ not even full pieces of shrimp (see red circle). This place used to be the spot but it’s sad to see what’s become of it. The dough on the inside of these wads was so undercooked and sticky it made it inedible and the shrimp inside was overcooked and rubbery. In the photos, what you see is the left over dough after picking through to find the shrimp. I was really looking forward to some good shrimp for dinner but I’m dismayed. Safe to say I won’t...

This was terrible. We walk in and there is almost no atmosphere. Whatever, big deal. I order my food and they argue with me! They said I wont like it and almost demanded I get something else. They say I didn't know what it was and said- not that I might not like it- no... they said I DONT like it. They ask if I've been here before. Like it matters? What if I LOVE what I'm ordering? What if I want something new? They ask the same thing over and I give in. I order something I didn't want in the first place (with shrimp sauce???) And it tastes bland.
