Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

So we ordered 3 pizzas for dinner tonight. Upon delivery we discovered the order was wrong. We called up to the store and spoke with a young man named Austin. First, we were informed that the error was ours. Total transparency- we ordered stuffed crust and it wasn’t stuffed crust when it arrived. We were told that we placed the order wrong. We may have made a mistake when the order was placed but the issue occurred when we were trying to have a conversation about the issue. This “manager” named Austin proceeded to be utterly rude to my wife. He consistently spoke over us and then had the audacity to say we were out of line by asking for his manager because of the way he was speaking. And that he wasn’t having the “back and forth” and calling “during a rush”. I wasn’t aware that an issue that a customer was experiencing was off putting “during a rush”. Everytime we spoke he chose to speak over us and when I pointed that out he decided that he was going to have us banned. This is going to be interesting because we intend to escalate this further beyond the store...

Ordered from here several times over the last year and a half. The last 4 orders have been wrong or incomplete. The last one sent the wrong pizza in size and topping and when I called, the woman who was the manager was incredibly rude and short. She did give a store credit before pushing me off the phone. Waited a few weeks and hesitantly called again. Very polite manager this time, placed the order, and the order shows up looking completely wrong…again. Called and assured that it was right, they just don’t all know how to cut an extra large pizza and the seasoning was forgotten. Again, very nice employee but extremely frustrating that every time we order now there’s something wrong with the order, especially for the price of things. Guess we will have to find a new place now,...

Papa John’s used to be my favorite commercial chain for its quality ingredients and delicious pizza. But they have absolutely gone down hill. All cheap ingredients and pure lack of quality or care at all. Pizza is the easiest entrée to make a great profit from. And I payed a premium price for nothing but cheap cheese and meats that are so packed full of fillers and by products that I ended up getting sick and having an allergic reaction. What a shame! Used to be such a great pizza chain. I’m unfortunately done with this one. Will not be giving them anymore...
