Having lived here 2 1/2 years, I’m not sure how we have missed not trying Shelba’s Place. This is a very quaint establishment run by a family. Parking during their busy time might be difficult, but it’s worth any trouble you might have. The breakfast menu is typical of a small diner. Our order was taken quickly and arrived hot. Tola, our server did a wonderful job and she got all of our special requests perfect! (That’s a big star in our book). It’s obvious that everyone knows everyone that comes in and they are made to feel welcome. Read moreSmall hole in the wall restaurant. Menu was confusing. Some of the items were listed more than once with different prices. Some of the foods were Hispanic with no description. We did not have to wait to be seated. The waitress was polite. Drinks were brought quickly. Food came pretty quickly. We both orders country ham. The ham tasted sour and spoiled. We asked for it to be exchanged. They brought out bacon instead but a very small portion compared to the ham. The service would have been better if they would have come to our table without having to flag them down.
There was no hot/warm water in the bathroom. There was a sign saying so. There NEEDS to be hot water...
Read morethe place isn't what it use to be ...dnt know what has happened here unless its because of a cook change...but the food is lacking as in flavor......and nobody was really there ...and there is a crack through the center of the floor the size of the San Andreas fault....which had me wondering what the heck was going on the whole time I was there....is there a sink hole under it like many other places around the county?....its not just a small little crack in the floor ....no its a good 1 to 2 inches wide.....I don't know about you....but I think I'm gonna steer clear of this place....unfortunate this use to be a great...
