I couldn't get this burger king to come up in search to read reviews before hand or we would have definitely not went here!!! Heed the warnings of the other bad reviews and mine!!! We waisted $20 for the worst food ever!!! Cold food, half full box of half cooked onion rings, a whopper with a burger that was not much thicker than a piece of paper that was cold with 1 piece of tomato that was no bigger than a silver dollar looked like the end of the tomato that should have been thrown away and a core piece of lettuce that was 1 inch by 1 inch no mayo or ketchup and center core tiny pieces of onions that looked like they had been frozen then thawed it literally was like eating a cold bun with nothing on it. The other order was suppose to be a double whopper it was NOT a double whopper was cold and had the same looking 1 piece of tomato no bigger than a silver dollar 1 inch by 1 inch core piece of lettuce same looking onions no ketchup or mayo large fry that was old and only half full. I'm not complaining about the price which is outrageous for fast food I'm complaining about the horrible food that wasn't even worth $1 and forget about talking to anyone about your complaint no one ever answers the phone and the voicemailbox is conveniently full and if you go online there is no number to call only a robot to talk to. Burger King you suck!!! Stop stealing people's money and give them what they order food that should look exactly what you advertise in pictures otherwise you are a fraud and should be sued for false advertisement!!!! Read moreI have worked food before and the service we got here honestly must have been voluntary. We spent $40 on food that sit in a bag on the counter waiting for onion rings to cook. These obviously take 20 minutes as that’s how long our bag sat on the counter waiting.
The front cashier was obviously training and in the middle of lunch so was being overwhelmed by the smallest of things. We ordered large combos and he handed us small cups, plain sandwiches were rung in with heavy condiments and then was told to the sandwich maker the correct way. My Big Bacon King came with 2 pieces of almost raw bacon on it. Must be a king of a super poor country or a land where pigs are endangered.
Once the food was ready it was half heartedly offered for a free piece of pie.
While this could have been better executed I honestly don’t hold the employees fully responsible. The greed of the company to make money and cut labor means they were running with a skeleton crew during the busiest parts of the day to ensure they could make staffing the rest of the day. This is why we get these experiences because you can only ask someone to get berated and yelled at for so long for $12/hr before they find somewhere else to work. Read moreThis is a new Burger King at the corner of i-40 and 226. Because my autistic son loves BK, we were excited that a new BK was located here. We drive from Greensboro to Spruce Pine every Friday and return on Sunday. We have a weekend home in Little Switzerland. However, after the first few weeks of their opening, we've noticed that the service in drive through is now nearly non-existent. We have tried several times over the last several months to order through drive-thru on our way to our mountain house. After pulling up, no one takes our order. Last weekend, I decided to look inside the store. There were at least 4 employees in the store, but when I entered, they all fled to the back of the store. Very bizarre. I don't know what is going on, but it's obvious that the owner/franchisee is not managing this store. I suspect the store will either be closed or sold to another franchisee in the next year. No customer was there and I think the word is out that service can't be had at this store and people are just collecting paychecks.
