Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in North Carolina

This Review is coming up under another Sonic that's located in Grandy, NC., And we were very pleased with our food from here...but my fiance and I chose the Sonic in VA Beach shopping area over by Lowes and etc., bc we were in the area and we had got up and out too late to catch breakfast at our regular fast food favorite places, Hardee's & Burger King, both in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake VA. This Sonic, however, City of Va Beach... Our food was awful, after the longer than usual wait time, we were still excited bc up til this we had always enjoyed Sonic's food, so we're hoping it's definitely just the location that wasn't making good food. Eggs on both sandwiches had absolutely Zero Taste and the bread 🍞 was stale and soggy... Even our tots were cold like they had been setting awhile without a heat lamp. I'm definitely not in a rush to go back to this Sonic but hopefully they were just having a bad day like we all do.... But only one... And...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Very dissapointed with my experience here. Stopped in there tonite to get ice cream funnels for myself and my son. This was supposed to be a reward for all of his hard work in school. First of all it took forever to recieve our order. Then the ingredients used tasted bitter and old. One of the blasts was supposed to be a pecan pie funnel, however it consisted of nasty, bitter chocolate, very little shortbread cookies, sour tasting vanilla ice cream and NO PECANS! I ended up throwing it in the trash due to not wanting to get sick from spoiled ingredients. This was not the first time I had a negative experience at this location, but really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Food was good and the car hop was super nice. We had a group of 5 people ordering food so the women inside had the car hop come out to take our order. Right off the rip the lady inside had a big attitude and said, "I can't take orders and cook at the same time!" The car hop took our order and accidentally missed an item which was ok, no biggie. My issue is, the women inside got a huge attitude with me when I brought it to her attention. She was arguing with me and said we already got. She was confusing my order with someone else's order and when I tried to tell her that she got even nastier. I eventually convinced her to please make my food which she reluctantly did.
