Talk of the Town — Restaurant in North Carolina

We’ve been coming to Talk of the Town frequently for years. We’ve gone 3 times since the start of the year and each time we’ve left very underwhelmed. The service has dramatically went down hill and the food quality has gone south as well. The marinara sauce was very runny and my wife’s salmon was undercooked and mushy. Great little place! We came on Friday and they had wine tasting. The gentleman who poured the wine samples was very knowledgeable and helpful when we chose a wine for dinner. The food was great! don't let the little strip mall style plaza throw you off the restaurant was absolutely amazing. very authentic cuisine. with a very spacious dining room. my server's name was Kate (ask for her) one of the friendliest people I think I've ever met very knowledgeable about the menu. super professional. all in all I highly recommend this as a dining experience if you are in the shallotte North Carolina area. 100 worth of trip...
