Let me first start by saying I love Wing Company in Hope Mills but twice I’ve encountered the most rudest chick ever. I don’t know her name but she wears contacts and has locs. We always order from there and the military discount is applied. The last time we ordered she was very nasty and tried to say I couldn’t pre-place an order because it showed as no-show..but wren I asked for the date she didn’t know so LIES!! I keep all of my receipts and offered to provide proof but she flipped it off and shrugged her shoulders. Tonight I ordered 35 wings which was not cheap. I get to the counter and low and behold I show her my military ID. She says “that’s not active duty” but I’ll give it to you, anyway. I said you guys changed to active duty only? She shrugs her shoulders and said I don’t know ma’am (with an attitude). So I asked why would she say it? I then ask for a manager to get clarification and the manager said “there’s a discount”. This chick had the audacity to reply “well it looks expired” in an attempt to discredit it. The manager verified it wasn’t expired..I’m like my husband did 21 years and retired, there is nothing expired about my ID. I understand if someone is having an off night but to encounter the same service twice with the same chick is unacceptable. I’ll still patronize Wing Company just not the one in Hope Mills. It’s bad enough I’m missing wings occasionally when we order (which a manager always offers to fix so that’s a plus). On top of that at our last encounter when she tried to say I didn’t show up for an order. I asked her to remove it from the system because it was incorrect, I had all of my automated messages telling me my order was ready for pickup. Well..guess what?? When I placed my order last night this is what it showed & I know it’s her attempt at being sarcastic. Just be prepared for wings with a side of “tude”🙄.

I’ve frequented this establishment for at least 7 years. I decided to place a Super Bowl order ugh big mistake I ordered the 50 piece with two sides I opted for two sides of corn because salad wasn’t a option as stated on the postcard that I grabbed the week before from their location. When I went in it was steady I knew it would be so I arrived early I ordered. 12 oz ranch on top of what came with the wings. I was told this was right I had to turn around and go back to get two small ramekins Get home these wings look like something off a baby chick pitiful. Upon serving the corn taste just like the chicken. Definitely wasn’t cooked with love and they darn sure didn’t care about the food they sent out zero stars I won’t be returning They didn’t deserve the 20$ tip I left lesson learned I reached out to the manager/ GM/ owners and still didn’t receive a call. Says a lot about the establishment and how it’s ran no customer service whatsoever

I frequented this restaurant for years until I moved about a year and a half ago. Came home to see my parents for Christmas and wanted some good wings and I remembered how good the wings were. We ordered 35 wings and was shocked the price was $55 including a large side of ranch. When I picked them up to take them home I noticed the bag was fairly light but it had 2 styrofoam containers and the receipt on the order was correct. I was planning on feeding 5 or 6 people with these wings and I was embarrassed to find the absolute tiniest wings I’ve literally ever seen in my life. I’m not sure if the attached picture does them justice but this flat pictured was one of the larger ones. It was nothing short of a ripoff. You can’t in good conscience charge an arm and a leg for wings this size. We had to go and get a lot more food because of this. I won’t be back after years of patronage.

Have had decent food and service here when dining in. However, beware of online ordering. Placed an order tonight. Restaurant cancelled the order because they couldn't fulfill the order as I had submitted it. They called me to let me know what was going on and asked if I wanted to change my order. I did and then inquired how payment would be handled since they had cancelled my online order. The gal stated that I could just pay when I picked up and then she prepared to end the call.

I stopped her and asked how long the order would take to prepare. (I was sitting in their parking lot by this time.) She asked me to repeat myself several times and finally told me my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I said okay and thanked her. She then told me my phone was cutting in and out. I told her that I didn't know why that would be as I had four bars on my signal and I was sitting in their parking lot. She stated again she couldn't hear me and I replied, "okay, thank you" and hung up.

I waited 20 minutes in the parking lot and then went in to pay for and retrieve my food. When I approached the desk the gal asked my name (after she finished arguing with the other employee about whose phone was more dead and needed the charger more). When I told her my name, she turned around and walked away without saying anything and a few minutes later a gentleman (who I assume to be a manager though he failed to identify himself) approached the register, asked me my name again and then asked me what I had ordered. He started punching my order into the register. When he was getting to the specifics of how I wanted my burger prepared, I realized that my food wasn't ready. I asked him why he was just now putting my order in and why my order was not already prepared. His response was that their policy was to not prepare an order for a customer who "hung up on them." I told him to forget it as that was unacceptable and I walked out.

As I was departing the parking lot though, I realized that the gal had gotten confirmation of my order and was preparing to end the telephone call when I started to ask her how long the order would take and she suddenly couldn't hear me very well. So I'm not really sure what other confirmation she would have needed if she had already confirmed my order with me, told me I could pay in the restaurant when I picked up the food and told me my food would be ready in 15-20 minutes.

Bottom line, an hour of my time wasted and I won't return despite the convenience of being so close...

DO NOT EAT AT THIS NASTY RESTAURANT. Today, my friends and I sat at the bar to dine in for lunch. We each ordered beer, salad, and wings. WHILE drinking our beer and eating our salad, one of the male employees decided to literally WALK ON THE BAR (where and while we’re eating mind you) to clean light fixtures above our head/food. When he got to the light fixture directly above our head and food, he starts cleaning the fixture, all while dust and dirt is falling into our drinks and food. Blatantly. I was flabbergasted to say the least. He could see the shock in my face, so he instantly hopped down and started apologizing. I asked for the manager or owner, and he was extremely reluctant to get them. Needless to say, the owner and manager was sitting right behind us in an open area, and they’re the ones who ordered him to clean the fixtures (never mind the fact that you have customer sitting at the bar eating and drinking)!!

The owner finally walks over, and insincerely apologizes for the bad judgement. I asked why could this not have been done while the restaurant was closed. The only thing he did was apologize and took $18 off our hundred dollar bill. After our exchange of words of the UNSANITARY act that just took place, the worker, the owner, and the manager were all laughing everything up, as if nothing even happened. No reprimand or Anything of the like, which tells me that this UNSANITARY behavior was/is OK and they could not care less.

Overall, if you do not care about BACTERIA, FUNGUS, or GERMS, or or do not care about nastiness when it comes to your food, and the people handling your food, then this restaurant may be up your alley. I understand roaches, but the fact that you blatantly walked on the table, where I am eating, and decided to clean dirt and dust, while it fell into my food while you don’t care, is unacceptable. Please spread the word and do not eat here. These people do not care, and there is no telling what goes on in the kitchen.

I wish I could give them a negative one. I only rated them a 1-star because I had to rate something in order for me to...
