I understand there are staffing and supply chain issues but I can't not say anything about this visit. Walked in at 9 pm on a Wednesday, only 2 booths with customers, all other booths, bars empty. 3 staff that we could see, looked like a 4th in the back. Chose a booth that once we sat down we had to ask to be cleaned, sticky with syrup and plastic silverware scattered under the table, maybe our fault... should have chosen a different booth or a bar seat. Served with menu also sticky with syrup. Ordered very simple small order for myself and my husband but it took almost half an hour to get the food on the table, and both orders were wrong. While we were waiting one of the staff took his dinner break then left his dishes and debris on the bar, by the time we left it was still there. Our food was barely edible, the bacon was cold. Hamburger was VERY dry and overcooked. Omelet looked like it had been cooked in dirty grease, the eggs had a gray tint. While we were trying to eat another staff sat on the lower bar, on cell phone and shouted to the other staff about trying to get another staff member to cover a shift. Read moreVery disappointed. This was once a go to spot of mine. However, overall the last 2 years, it has went down hill to the point that I will begin going to the 2nd local location. Today, I attended to call in my order several times to only get a voice message starting they where open where basically to busy to take call in orders. I'm sorry! WHAT!! The waitress tip is automatically configured in with a call in order! Anyway, yes, they where busy. So I just placed my order my order at the counter and had a seat. 45 mins later, the waitress says I'm ready and rings me up. After I pay and I'm about to check to make sure my order is correct, sure informs me, "Oh, we are still waiting on your blueberry waffle." So I wait another 10 minutes. I have been there pretty much an hour at this point for a to-go order. I have watched a family of 4 be seated, order their food, eat, pay, and now leave. Read moreThis was one of the most frustrating experiences we’ve ever had at a Waffle House. Everything took soooooo so so so so so long. We got to listen to our waitress complain about how she didn’t want to be there and the cook walked out earlier that morning. (We went on a Sunday morning so expected a wait and a busy kitchen, but this was absurdly long and the waitress clearly didn’t want to be there.) After the insanely long wait we received our hash browns (not the full meals, just the hash browns) which were missing the toppings we ordered. After 15 or so minutes we got our sandwiches which were missing the meat. That meant we had to wait some more to get correct sandwiches and not enjoy them with our hasbrowns.
