My family and I just ate at the Waffle House on the South of The Border exit. We were VERY impressed by Pat's customer service!!! He was knowledgeable, personable, and had fantastic customer service! After taking our order, he assisted the cook with preparing the food and we never had to ask for refills because he kept them coming!!! The food was EXCELLENT and the cook did a great job with the quality and preparation of the food. I must say that this is the BEST waffle house that we have visited. Big mistake on my part. Not only was I treated like an outsider, stared at by a person dining with an employee, but after placing my order and waiting for TWENTY MINUTES, I approached the counter to find out that while they were perfectly fine to take my money, they didn't even start making my order, forgot about it, and didn't even apologize for the insult.
