Super Wok — Restaurant in North Charleston

Its really exciting when you can find a place of particular genre of food that you can always keep coming to when you feel the urge.

Super Wok is that for me....

Honestly every time I go in I never leave disappointed at all. Everything is made to order (the traditional authentic dishes is what I'm looking for) & more importantly. It's all fresh!!!

I love that crunch from the veggies in the vegetable fried rice. The full size shrimp in any dishes (including my favorite kung pao shrimp) along with the non overpowering sauces. Like you get at most Chinese places.

You can actually taste the ingredients in every bit!!! It's a family of 4 normally when I'm there. So the love & care is always present; good sight to see when you finally left your head up from eating like you've been deprived for a week. Lol

EWWW! I’ve never gone here and never will again! $53.17 for 4 pork egg rolls, Lg Boneless Spare Ribs (the only thing we actually like!), a Lg Wonton Egg Drop Soup (the wontons taste fine but the broth flavor is somehow reminiscent of hay, no joke!), a large egg drop soup and pork egg foo young (There was a hole in the gravy for this and each “PUFF” was burnt and just blech!)

I actually wanted to try this place since probably Christmas time and I’m sorry I tried it now!

Super Wok has been a go-to for takeout Chinese for many years. Whenever I go to visit my sister we call ahead and place our usual orders and pick it up. Our usual is the chicken broccoli combination and the pork egg foo young combination. Be combination platters, with fried rice and an egg roll. The portions are very generous you probably would not be able to eat it all. And the food is delicious! The prices are reasonable between 8 and $10 for the combination platter. It is cooked after you order it so it's always fresh and ready in about 10 to 15 minutes after order. It is not really a place that has an eat in dining room but for takeout it...
