Venezia Pizza — Restaurant in North Haven

Second time getting pizza from this place I stumbled upon working in the area. Let me tell you this is one tasty pizza using top quality ingredients. The owner is there making all the pies himself which is contributing to consistency in quality. Had a few of the apizza pies from the three top wooster street pizza joints this summer which I also ate on occasions since a kid. The gods honest truth is their quality and consistency is not the same anymore .Most likely do to the fact that they not only did ownership change over the years , they have multiple pizza chefs and churning out a ridiculous amount of pizza in a day. The only thing they have on Venezia pizza is the char flavoring you get from coal fired ovens. I bet if you ask he can make it with a little char on the crust. But overall I will take a Venezia pie . I recently ordered a pizza from Venezia pizza at 34 Middletown ave. North Haven CT. I ordered the classic margarita with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil, my wife got the clam Casino pizza for the kids. I have to say it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The toppings were fresh and crust was perfectly crispy. The service at Venezia Pizza was also top notch. This is my absolute favorite pizza restaurant in the North Haven/East Haven area. The pizza is always fantastic and no matter what pie I order I am always delighted with the exquisiteness of the pizza. I believe their Margherita Pizza is the best one I have ever tasted.
