Read moreMissing from the landscape of our modern society, is the great billiards halls of the past. The cacophonous symphony of cue balls cracking, and object balls slam-dancing about, while glasses clink, music plays, and conversations mix into a warm stew of background noise. Places where people could unwind, and unbind themselves from the slog of their day to day lives, challenging themselves to master the laws of physics, if only long enough for that one perfect shot.
Walking in the door here, you find a remaining bastion of this once widespread tradition. A hall full of brilliant green felt tables, floating in an ocean of regalia, and a beautifully crafted bar that proudly stands before an array of refrigerators that plays host to dozens of different brews. The atmosphere is calming, the building has the charming quirks of the billiards halls of old, and the obvious love of the game, and what it gives back, is well, obvious.
Visit this place if you already love to play pool, if you want an epic variety of beers, if you want to relax and decompress, or if you want to learn to play an amazing game that challenges you, in a spot where no one is waiting for you to lose so that they can jump in.

Read moreI used to like this place but one night changed that, usually on Saturday nights my friends and I would go and play pool, we used to go there at around 11 because one of our friends works late, going there late was never a problem until one night we went in and the owner stopped us all and asked if we are all 21, only one us were 21, he then told us theres a law stating that if any venue has a bar anyone who comes in after 9 must be 21 we told him that we always got let in even after 9 and he just looked at us and said nothing. I understand that coming in earlier would be a better alternative but its hard cuz we all don't work the same schedules, it was very frustrating as we then had nothing to do that night and just wanted to have fun and play some pool, I never write bad reviews but due to this experience I had to express how upset we all were. We are all young we cant get into most places because they require that you have to be 21. We will go elsewhere and spend our money. The owner probably didn't let us in because he knew he wasn't going to make any money alcohol sales. The owner would like to me contact him?!!!! No way absolutely not. If the owner knows anything about running a business, he should know that the owner or manager is supposed to contact the patron, not the other way around. So I will now be giving my...
