If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I went out of my way to order from this location because we were weekly customers for nearly 7 years before we moved. We had received a coupon, and so we also used that. In order to use that, I had to place two separate online orders, and paid online. I drove nearly 15 minutes to pick up the pizza. My family waited in the car while I went in to pick up. When I got there, the “manager”, who wore a black long sleeve graphic shirt, met me at the counter. I gave him my name for the orders, and explained there were 2. They had one, but didn’t have the other. He asked for my order number, so I had to go out and get the information from my phone. When I came back, I showed him my phone, and then noticed I needed to login to show him the details. He immediately got an attitude with me and took offense to whatever “attitude” he perceived I had. He proceeded to confront me and tell me I was throwing a tantrum, and while I tried to explain to him about his attitude towards me, he cut me off and told me to “get out of my store”. There was another employee there that witnessed the interaction and tried to help me. I was upset at this point because of his downhill treatment of me as a paying customer just trying to get my order he claimed he couldn’t find, but another employee looked up immediately. I was told repeatedly to get out of the store and threatened with “I have your name and phone number”….I was completely caught off guard with his treatment of me, I felt this was a threat. I requested the District Manager’s information, which was refused to me, and the employee actually trying to help me could not find. He threatened me and said I was not welcome back in “his store”….Whoever hired this person needs to rethink his position. And whether welcome or not, my family and I will NEVER darken the doors of this location again…and I will tell everyone I know about...
Read moreThe shop is clean, easily located and I am greeted by name each time I walk in the door by multiple cheerful employees. The employees are co-operative with each other and with customers, since service is their mission. They have a feature in their ordering program that allows them to pull up my phone number and make exactly what I had last time. Well done means well done and nobody gets an attitude when I ask for something special. The price is right and Marco's uses a punch card, so eventually one pizza is free. (I think I have about 30 of those punch cards with one punch each.) Having a video store next door is a new concept to me, but I think it is a brilliant idea. I had been a die hard fan of the competition until I wandered into the North Davis store one night, because it was closest and I was starving. I instantly became a fan. Hannah helped me place my order with a huge smile and a helpful attitude. The crew served up my pizza to go like I asked, although there is seating available and gave me a coupon for next time. I never actually get to the coupons and it does not matter. What keeps me coming back is the friendly staff, fast service, accurate order taking and GREAT, non-greasy pizza. I don't go as often as I used to, since I have been working so much, but it is at least every other week now or so. If you want seriously good pizza and a smile, go see Matt or Matt or Matt... but not Matt. He ain't there no more. They also deliver. And ladies, Chucho is SINGLE! Run in and...
Read moreLike this pizza a lot, but today you severed the relationship. Marco’s sent me an email at 7:17am with code for $.79 wings through October 1, code HD9057. The coupon wasn’t working online, so i called the store. “Savan” (spelled something like that) answered. I asked if I could use the same code, she wasn’t sure about that code, but couldn’t see it in the system. I wanted to learn more about how to use the code you’d emailed me today, so I asked to speak to a manager on duty. Savan mumbled something to someone, and I heard a male voice explain something back. Savan returned to the phone saying the code expired last week. I told her the expiration is October 1, then asked a second time to speak to a manger on duy. Savan said “they’re all busy,” so I asked if there were multiple managers, why couldn’t I speak to one. Savan responded that she’s sorry, but they’re all too busy, even if it’s to handle a customer issue. Excuse me, Marco’s? Is this how you train your staff? I can only speak to someone without answers who tells me "there's nothing we can do"? I enjoy your pizza, but this service is beyond unacceptable in your competitive market, it’s offensive. We will not return to your locations and I will share my experience with my neighbors and...
