RUMA’S RESTAURANT — Restaurant in North Royalton

First and foremost, the staff here is freaking excellent! Very friendly and helpful with narrowing down decisions. Food here is great! The menu is quite large so I had a breakfast burrito and a corned beef sandwich. Fries are good but nothing special. The fresh fruit cup was as advertised with juicy pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew. Had the Royalton breakfast wrap which has egg, cheese, ham, bacon and sausage - the wrap is stuffed to the brim primarily with sausage and egg while there's shreds of ham and bacon pieces here and there. The corned beef sandwich comes on rye with 2 slices of Swiss which I feel like most places are just the slice on top so it was great to catch a second slice on the bottom! Needless to say, the corned beef is fantastic! Plus, deli sandwiches are served with a pickle spear - a touch I always appreciate. Also had a side of crispy bacon that didn't come out covered in grease like at many other diners. Crunchy and satisfying! Topped it off with a cup of sausage gravy to dip the fries in which was just your typical tasting sausage gravy. Overall, a great meal to start the day! OMG!!!!!!!! What a find after searching for a good place to meet up. Our group formerly GWRRA C3, now Crossroads Motorcycle Club NE, has been going to this little gem of a place in North Royalton for a few years now. We meet every 1st Saturday of the month in the party room for breakfast and for just catching up on life events. We had our Christmas celebration in the party room last year, and this year,12-07. The buffet style is perfect for us and we didn't even have to decorate or clean up! The cook, and owner, Basam does a great job and his lovely wife Sue and her welcoming friend Mary. All great people! There are smiles coming and going! We have our favorite waitress, Stephanie, who knows what most of us like to drink and eat before we even ask! She's very hard working and fits right in with our group! She enjoys joking around with the group. We are happy we found our forever home for breakfast and parties. Don't get me wrong, all the rest of the staff are just as good, I just can't remember all their names. (sorry!) The food is very good and reasonably priced. It's a laid back environment. I have hosted many events in the past and this weekend my daughter’s bridal shower at Ruma’s Restaurant’s party room and it was pure perfection. Let me start out with first saying the staff & owner are top notch. Stephanie the party coordinator was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, B the owner could not be more gracious he worked with me on our menu and created the most delicious meal. My guests were complementing me on how tasty the food was and it was fantastic, fresh and delightful. It was the perfect space, atmosphere and location for my event. Parking is great. I can’t say enough about Ruma’s they serve delicious breakfast and lunch and the other staff members I have met Rachel & Bobbie are beyond friendly.
