Cute and friendly Latina baristas making delicious coffee drinks, what's not to like. And one of the few places you can get an authentic Abuelita mexican hot chocolate when you're not in the coffee mood. Has in-house mexican bakery with typical mexican baked goods. Some are ok, but most of them taste the same to me, so I'm not really a big fan of the mexican pastry, but maybe it's a cultural thing as I grew up with desserts like pecan pie, chess pie, key lime pie, cherry pie, blackberry cobbler, creme Brule, moist cheesecakes. Would be nice if they would venture outside of the mexican pastry and try some of the desserts I mentioned. 😋 Unfortunately, there is no seating or space to enjoy the wonderful coffee at this place. but on my last trip, it looked like they acquired a large space next door and are planning on making a real coffee shop space with chairs and tables, which would be fantastic 😀, I'm crossing my fingers...
Read moreThis is a note for management - your lattes are way toooo expensive- almost $8 for a medium latte without special milk or add-ons is just too much. I got two drinks and was charged over $16. 😔 I was obsessed with your Horchata latte but unfortunately I won't be going anymore. The Grindhouse has amazing coffee and their medium lattes with choice of two syrups is $5.50. The Daily Drip has amazing coffee and their latte with one syrup is $5.96. The Stockyard has extraordinary coffee and their medium Horchata latte (made with homemade horchata) is $5.50. These are all small businesses making coffee that honestly tastes even better than yours and their prices are nowhere near what you are charging. I'm not sure why you raised the price but many of my friends are not going to your shop anymore because it's just too expensive. You should only charge extra for the extras so that you can stay competitive in this...
Read moreFirst time trying. Definitely will recommend and this will be my go to pan dulce spot! Pan dulce is fresh and delicious! The bolillo is warm, fresh and delicious. I tried the cafe part. I Ordered cafe de olla. For me it was too sweet. My husband ordered the cafe abuelita , also way too sweet. However, I’m sure for others it would be great. just not us. Next time I’ll just stick to regular coffee. The service was good and courteous. I feel they need to expand and make the area a little larger it would make for a better flow. It’s a bit small and crammed. But it’s a small cute place. Oh I almost forgot. Their cheese and jalapeño bolillo is so good! Definitely recommend. They have a variety of delicious breads to choose from. I was definitely happy and more happy to have found a fresh panaderia not too far away. Thanks Cielito Lindo for being...
