I was stuck here with my family for almost a month I’m a traveling RN and from the beginning I was against it But that’s what I get for letting my agency choose our housing! Anyway, Rooms are 100+ a night (so you think it would be somewhat decent) when I came with my original reservation I was questioned how I got the prices as if I was doing something wrong. Because I was just starting a contract nearby I broke my reservation into sections but I was told if I didn’t pay for it all at once the prices would not be honored even though we were told that we would have to check out and then check back in later that same day?! Going from one reservation to another. we were already there and my agency didn’t have anything else lined up right away so for the first part we stayed and had to cancel my other reservations. My agency ended up getting it resolved and we stayed for a few weeks going forward The night staff were amazing and certain day staff too. The rest are on some type of power trip high that they really need to come down from. After a week of being there I was over it. Hotel continuously smells like weed, and there were always drunk men hanging out and parting with women outside the front and back doors! ( we tried using just about every door throughout our stay to avoid them) but instead of doing something about that, the management chooses to nitpick about smaller things. My children went to the so-called breakfast, one day in our second week of being there to be met by a worker who told them they could not take Food to the room! My daughter called me on her cell phone so I contacted the front desk. The front desk woman was also confused about what was going on so I walked down there to speak with them face-to-face. All of a sudden there was no issue. It was a misunderstanding, but breakfast food isn’t allowed in the rooms? So I question how is breakfast food not allowed in the rooms, but were able to get delivery from restaurants here which is what we had been doing since we had been there along with other hotel guest. She just looked at me plainly and started speaking Spanish, (which I thought was rude) to another one of her workers, and then just told us it was no issue we could go back to our room. The next day, there was a written note on the wall that said no breakfast food allowed in the room! from there The situation only got worse my daughter took my sons to the pool as she normally would, and a man came yelling at them to get out they couldn’t be in there so once again, I went to the front desk for them to not know what happened when I requested the general managers information. I was basically denied it I had to contact wyndam to issue a complaint and have them try to contact the general manager, but the hotel kept hanging up on them. Terrible management. The hotel itself is trash. We even went and gathered cleaning supplies ourselves for our room. I would not recommend staying here if you did not have to I thought it would be a nice little vacation while I worked for me and my family but it turned out to be a nightmare! Not to mention the critters they have running around and the bugs!!! The last night we stayed we even seen a Man sleeping against the door outside! Needless to say, I end up ending my contract early. I’ve stayed at a few days inn and I’ve never been to one as bad as this. I’m not sure who the owner is but...
Read morePlease everyone read the reviews. The website is very misleading. We stayed August 19 through August 23. They charged us $704. Upon arrival we walked into the hotel. The lights were flickering you could not see it was a strobe light thank goodness I was not epileptic, but my son is so we had to take him through the front door. The side doors that you’re able to access with a keypad or unlocked all hours of the day through the night you do not need a key, which I felt very unsafe. upon entry into our room the room was filthy and I mean filthy the bathroom floor the toilet hadn’t been cleaned hair all over the floor dirt piled all over the floorboards. The dust was so thick the sheets just drove a 6 1/2 hour drive to open the sheets to have soiled sheets went to the main desk asked for new sheets He told me he could not get them I had to wait until the morning staff had no access to them. That was just the first night! Then the third day in they screwed up our reservation, then wanted to double charge me for the fourth night 200 more dollars when I told them that I was not paying that that I had already paid per my reservation seeing as I had such trouble cleaning the room showed them pictures that I had taken upon arrival everything I had done they had not offered nothing not even an extra pillow not an apology. Nothing they told me there was no rooms available that I needed to leave so I was out to $200 and without the dirty old room that we had cleaned and made it suitable for the stay while we were in town they have mold they have bugs no security windows falling apart air conditioning does not work wires hanging out please do not read the reviews avoid this place if all possible.. I was this person that needed a place to stay thought it would be fine, but I learned the hard way. I did not listen to...
Read moreMy recent experiences at this Days Inn have been extremely disappointing and concerning.
On one stay, I witnessed a child vomit in the pool area. Three days later, the dried green vomit was still there, which shows a clear lack of cleaning and sanitation. This is a serious health and safety issue.
On another visit, my personal property (an Alexa device) went missing from my room, and I strongly believe it was taken by housekeeping. In addition, I once returned to my room only to find that my key card no longer worked. When I went to the front desk to have it reset, I came back and discovered the general manager and housekeeping supervisor inside my room without my consent. When I questioned why they were there, the general manager (Lydia Soto) told me she had the right to enter and claimed it was due to an “inspection.”
She then confronted me about towels I had left outside the room, saying the hotel “failed an inspection” because of it. I explained that in many hotels it is common practice to leave towels outside for collection, yet instead of apologizing for being in my room without permission, she dismissed my concerns. She even tried to claim the front desk had instructions not to extend my stay, but after calling them in front of me, it was clear this was not true.
Housekeeping has also been inconsistent—on one occasion, the general manager said my tub was “dirty” and would “take a long time to clean,” which came across as insulting rather than professional.
Overall, this hotel lacks cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for guests’ privacy. Management’s behavior, especially entering my room without consent, is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this...
