Definitely needs negative stars. My husband made 6 ATTEMPTS to get a chicken sandwich. 1 time they were completely out and another they were all sitting outside not working because of lack of food available. Once we went and they were COMPLETELY OUT OF CHICKEN! They have off and on got orders wrong, charged me wrong, etc. My husband once got a meal with a side of red beans and rice and recieved JUST red beans, NO rice! Admist the bot having chicken I called the corporate office and was on the phone for 30 minutes with NO ANSWER! This most recent time I went and it will be my LAST, I went to the drive thru and a fellow customer went through in front of me. I pulled up to order at 4:47pm and was told to "hold on it will be a minute we are changing shifts", I said ok. Even though that is EXTREMELY odd and poor business. Never experienced that in my LIFE. Then at 5:03pm I was told "it will be about 5 more minutes, we are in the middle of changing shifts". Finally at 5:10pm I was able to start my order and asked for one of the family meals and for one of the sides I asked for coleslaw, the employee stated "we are out of coleslaw." I responded, "oh wow" she responds "they didn't even order coleslaw" referring to management not putting in the food order for it. While waiting I phoned the corporate office and this time they actually answered and I provided my information as well as our experiences for the past year and yet nothing has improved. I was told that I would be contacted, but we shall see. Upon just reading a handful of reviews you can see that there are too many similar experiences. It would be amazing if they could ever get their act together. We should just put a chick-fil-a there, these type of occurrences NEVER...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all the slowest drive thru around. When we finally get to the order screen, the lady says take a moment and look at the screen, Afters about 2 minutes sorry for the wait. We had three orders, first was a classic chicken sandwich combo with fries and strawberry lemonade, she promptly advised the lemonade machine was broken, no Sprite and a few other sodas were out. Next was the Cajun fish, and was promptly advised it was a limited menu item and was no longer available. But was clearly on both drive marquee's, and ordered the tackle box meal (shrimp and fries) last ordered three wings combo, again no lemonade. Had to settle for cream soda, and 8 nuggets. Pulling to the drive thru window and waited for the car in front to get their order which took approximately 4 minutes. They got theirs and we moved up. The lady gave me the total, $26 and change, handed the lady the money, she informed that do we still want the 8 nuggets because they forgot to put them down the nuggets. I said yes. She gave me the change and the other items in the order and proceeded to give us our drinks. Which were wrong, two Cokes and sweet tea. We ordered cream soda's and unsweetened tea. Handed them back and she gave me the unsweetened tea which was Coke, again handed back and the handed me the unsweetened tea and other drinks. She told me to move forward. 8 minutes later our nuggets came out. Meanwhile the fries that were ordered as combo we cold and limp, and the other food sub par. Will never go back. Simple things like if you longer offer a meal take it off the menu. Put signs up saying product is a shortage or not available at this time. It's not rocker science. Today's work ethics...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in town last week for the funeral of a very dear friend and after everything was over we decided to stop for a quick bit to eat. My fiance and i have never had Popeye's before and we have both been wanting to try it so we decided to stop there before getting back on the road for a very long drive back home. When we got there there were 3 cars in the drive-thru. Everyone went in a timely manner until they got to us. The man at the window asked us to pull forward and our food would be out shortly, which was not a problem at all. We pulled forward and sat there for about 10 minutes before oddly another car pulled up directly beside us and put there car in park to wait for their order. The employees continued to take orders and the drive-thru and lobby became more and more backed up. Finally when we hit the 30 minute mark i started getting angry when they were handing out orders to people in the back but yet we were still parked along with the man next to us. I finally got out and had to go inside and ask what was taking to long. A man behind the counter was immediately rude and said "We told you there would be a wait" uhh no one told us anything other then to pull forward and again at this point i have been sitting in the drive-thru 30 plus minutes. Finally they hand me my food with more attitude and once i got outside i realized that they didnt even give me my whole order. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I will never be back and i will not refer...
