Had always gone to Sheila’s down the road for breakfast but given the holiday they were closed and this place didn’t seem as packed as it normally is so we decided to try it out! Food was good. Service was awful from “Abby”. We got our drinks after other people who had come in after us. Mine took even longer “because they were changing the syrup”. Took about 5 more minutes…. 4 tables got their food before us, they came in after us. We got our food, she sat it in the wrong place. My husbands drink clearly already needed a refill since we waited for 20 minutes atleast. She didn’t bring his toast. Came back and said it would be out in a minute. We never saw her again. Another 10 minutes go by still not seeing her. CANT EAT YOUR FOOD WITHOUT A DRINK. Finally had to ask another waitress to get her. She came and asked what we needed. I said he needs a drink and his toast in which he said never mind on the toast at this point and she DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE SHE HAD FORGOTTEN THE TOAST. At this point we were almost done eating she should have left the check. SHE DIDNT. So we had to flag her down for the check and when she brought it she said, “can I get you anything else?”. 😂 like why try now. Literally the first time we didn’t...
Read moreThis is a comfort food and fast service estaishment. It offers breakfast all day as well which I consider a plus as I do tend to get breakfast here. Given the amount of restaurants in the area it stands out as in this area you choices are not abundant. Most others in this town only offer one type of dining options to choose from. They do have daily specials and on the Fridays I have been in they offer all you can eat fish. The wait staff is very curtious but of you do get an appetizer, I would wait before ordering an entree as it comes out fast. This is easy to spot while driving so little chance you will miss it. It is really busy during breakfast then slows down until dinner time. So my suggestion is to give it a try and I think most will agree. Open parking and also has handicapped parking that is right up front and also they do have high chairs for the little ones. The prices here are very reasonable and you do get a lot of food so be ready for a to go box. Left overs are always a plus....
Read moreWell, first of all, the food was hot and delicious. It was so hot that I burnt my lip. The coffee is very good, the hash browns are very, very good. Those are the pros now the cons. We waited for a table for some time because the girl that was running the register was also seating people. They had tables open she was just too busy to get us seated. Now, for the waitress, it's absolutely terrible. we didn't know what we wanted, so as we are looking, she comes up and asks if we are ready to order. we said no, then she said, "What do you want to drink?" coffee and Pepsi. She brought it to us and then disappeared for about 15 minutes, came back and asked again, and then we ordered our food. Food comes out, and she doesn't come back until we are almost done. We had to ask some other waitress for more coffee and Pepsi. I needed a box. We had to ask for that from another waitress, and we received our bill from...
