Regarding today's visit on 2/6/20 - THE WORST EXPERIENCE in over 13 years - lunch time visit - having food rushed on you - might be fine if you're on lunch time from work - but not when you specifically ask that food not be rushed for your table - totally ignores request - all items received within seconds of each other - such as appetizer - salad - main meal - requested a manager - female manager was rude and condescending - we requested to pay for our appetizers and any drinks so we could leave - now get berated - and they apparently find the disability of deafness to be unacceptable and insult you and tell you not to return - which we will gladly do from this day forward. So I would suggest you carefully weigh this location with the following in mind - if you have a disability and or have an issues with service - you are very much likely to - (1) get treated like dirt - not have your issues resolved - (2) have your disability mocked and then ask you to never return. And this is also likely - someone from this location will try to claim this reviewer is full of it etc. Believe what you wish - but keep this review in mind before your visit Hilltop..... You will not likely see or receive this treatment - UNLESS you have issues with service etc. Also just received an email response that blamed us the 'customer' with yelling (which is ridiculous) and many other things (All fabricated and ridiculous) - this was the response from the restaurant - NOT 'How can we improve' etc. just blame it on the customers - as is what this restaurant is known for. I now highly recommend you avoid this restaurant - there is a high likelihood if you receive bad service and seek a remedy - YOU will be blamed for their mistakes - but it is your choice - choose wisely - good luck... We would like to apologize for orders taking longer, however since Covid19 we as well as other businesses have had a difficult time getting help. Our staff has been working very hard to get food out in a timely manner. Most of our food is prepared fresh to order, only exception is some of our entree's/vegetables which are prepared daily for serving. Our hour will be changing due to being short of help. Read morePros: the waitress was very nice, food we were able to eat was good, and the milkshakes were great. Down side is that between 5-5:30 they stop making half their menu. Unfortunately the only choices they had by the time we got there at 5:35 were burgers, hotdogs, corndogs, chicken nuggets/tenders, or standard grilled/fried chicken fillet. And the only side options were onion rings, tater tots, bread, fried okra, or a salad bar that had been out all day. This very limited menu was very disappointing. I realize that this is because they close at 6:30 on Sunday but 5-6pm is normally prime dinner time not to mention if your gonna stay open until 6:30 you should be willing to serve your full menu until you close and especially not remove so much of the menu an hour or more...
