In all my years of ordering I never in my life experienced how difficult it was to order a slice of pizza OMG. Neither one of the gentlemen that were in the front today at 1:00pm knew what they were doing. Nowhere does it indicate anywhere in their store or on their menu that only certain toppings can you add to a slice. Since when did chicken become a premium topping. Shrimp I can see but chicken. Now keep in mind this was my first experience and the very last. The younger gentleman that rung me up informed me that they didn’t do slices so I was rung up for a small pizza but was told it was a personal size. Umm a personal pizza would never cost almost $20. Then another customer came in to order a slice and was rung up for a slice while I was told that they don’t sell slices. It’s no way two confused employees should be working in the front at the same time. It is just way too much. And this was for the response to the owner. I said what I said. How many times did I have to interpret that I wanted a slice of buffalo chicken more than usual. Stop trying to get on here and defend your negative reviews. If you were there you know like you say you were then you knew what took place and what owner if any knew that it was an issue of some kind failed to introduce themselves and offer an apology for the mix up. That right there says alot about you unfortunately. So let’s not get on here acting surprise. The surprise part is you didn’t expect me to leave one. The review wasn’t about a refund it was about the poor customer service that I received. And yes he knew to refund me my monies or my bank would...
Read moreI have fond memories of having slices of pizza at Aldo's back in my elementary school years as my best friend and I could walk from her house to the pizzeria. As an adult, I've had enough pizza to be able to distinguish the Good from the Not-So-Good, and I am sad to say that my fond memories are just that: memories. The pizzas and salad my husband and I ordered from Aldo's last week were a poor excuse for dinner. The personal pepperoni pizza was greasy (yes, I expect it to be a bit greasy) and overcooked. The Brooklyn Pie - which I held high hopes for - was nothing more than a barely-edible square pie covered with dry, rubbery, bland specks of mozzerella, a splash of nondescript sauce, and flavorless basil. The real insult was that it was covered in a thick layer of powdered parmesan cheese. Not even the "real stuff"! It was pretty disgusting. And, as a true nail in the coffin, the antipasto salad was nothing but a styrofoam takeout container sprinkled with lettuce topped by almost-rancid mushrooms, peppers, artichokes, DRY mozzerella, dried-out grape tomatoes, canned black olives, and (YUK) ....pickles. Yes. Deli variety pickles. Needless to say, I'd order from the grocery store pizzeria before ordering...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant several times in the past but, with my last experience I will not return. My girlfriend and I went to have dinner and we waited an hour and 20 minutes with no entrée being served. We had to leave due to her son arriving at the airport early and asked to see the manager, when the manager arrives we explained we were there for an hour and 20 minutes without being served our entrée and pointed out the table next to us which arrived after us and was finishing their dinner. The manager stated that I was wrong and they arrived before us, the people at the table corrected the manager and advised her we were there when they arrived. The manager then went on to justify the service by telling us that they weren't McDonald's and make their food to order she stated our dinner was delayed because we ordered an appetizer.
I failed understand how when taking a complaint she can justify the poor service and basically call me a liar when I told her the table next to us came in later until she was corrected by the table. I was more upset with the behavior of the manager than waiting an hour and 20 minutes without being served. But they both set the tone for my...
