There is a new executive chef and let me just say, it shows, for the good! The food has taken a turn now to farm to table and it is beyond creative, yummy and enjoyable. The menu also changes up by season. If you are seeing a review from over 6 months ago, ignore it. It's a whole new place now. The staff has always been pleasant when we have eaten here and they have an amazing selection of cocktails that pair very nicely with you entree. Here's the bonus, locals. The menu for Lake County's Restaurant Week was absolutely delicious! The menu was created by 2 of the incredible Chefs there -- Charles and Maynor. We were so impressed with the dishes that we had to ask! A variety of options for each course and everything that was brought to our table both looked and tasted great. Please put the Tuna Tartare on your regular menu -- it was incredible! Very friendly staff including our waitress, JJ. Great! Our bill came to $62 (not including tip) for 3 people, which is about what I would expect for a hotel restaurant.

I had a cheeseburger that was cooked to perfection - just the way I wanted it (see pictures). Atmosphere was friendly and good for visiting (thank you for not playing the music too loud!). There was only 1 server the night we came; while it would have been nice to have more than 1, the hotel was only 1/3 full on a random Friday in January, so I can't blame them.
