Edit: the guy who's name is Adam who's working there a lot, is extremely sweet! He doesn't beg for a tip nor does he expect it either. He always greets me by name and recognizes me right away. I have gone in the past 3 days in a row. He smiles at me. He makes sure that when I do place an order to go, that I get extra silverware, napkins, and sauces on the side in the bat. The food is honestly extremely good now. Hot, fresh, actually flavorful. The chips for stuff like chips and salsa or the artichoke dip; are also extremely fresh! The chips are very salty. The triple chocolate meltdown isn't cold anymore. The chocolate isn't curdled. It's perfectly moist and the chocolate is the perfect amount of hot. Without burning the tongue either. Seriously the chips have gotten better; no more stale too crunchy awful chips! I love how salty the chips are now. Even the wings are juicier and have more sauce on them. I was only disappointed in today's meal and the service provided (06/18/24). The wings seemed really small like (bite size wings) and we only got 4 instead of 6-8 like the last few times we've ordered from here. But honestly I feel like they take the criticism of there food not tasting good nor fresh seriously. It has changed. I have the Applebee's app, which makes it easier to place curbside to go orders. I wish the app would save your recent meals to make it faster. But other than that no complaints. Even the quesadillas were fresh and hot and tasted extra juicy and amazing. Seriously though Adam is extremely friendly, fast, takes his job seriously. I've never had problems with my food when he's working.
My husband and I usually decide to go inside the restaurant for the atmosphere and the music choices they have going on in the background. There's plenty of TVs for people who really like to watch sports. There's a bunch of different alcoholic drinks. The servers are normally fast, attentive, sweet, even suggest different drinks or foods to try. The servers almost always tell us the special they have going on or if the appetizers that are half off. There's plenty of different areas in this particular Applebee's for different seating options. There's also no outdoor seating, which is fine because like I stated above there's different areas for seating for everyone. Tables, booths, even a section for seating at the bar. Lots of parking spots, specific spots for curbside to go. They even have spaces for door dash or pickup which makes the experience faster for pickup. Especially ordering online. I had some pretty great servers checking on my food to make sure it was right and fresh. We really like the triple cherry sprite drink! The triple chocolate meltdown or the donuts for desserts are...
Read moreI was one of two tables late Wednesday afternoon. 10/8/24) I placed my order right away. My server was very kind n d and smiled. I was given my meal (chicken fajita rollup) but was not checked back on until I was already finished. Despite my server passing by me table a few times. When I was finished, I pushed my plate toward the middle of the table and proceeded to do some work on my cell phone. I was offered another iced tea and accepted. At no time was my plate or empty glassware removed. The manager also walked by several times once business started picking up. She came out with plates and walked right by me with empty hands back to the kitchen. My dirty stuff was still there even after I paid my bill and left. The rollup was hard like it was put on the flat top. Almost quesadilla hard one one side. I've had the same exact issue with dirty plates each time I've been to that location. Many moons ago, I worked at the Burnsville Center location. Again, my server was sweet, I just think there is a lot of room for training opportunities. Both server and management. I, unfortunately, will not be back. There are so many other choices in Northfield. I had just hoped things would turn around. Fries were hot, so I had that going for me. 😉

Read moreI order from this restaurant about a month or so ago. I haven't had time to address the issue. I order on MY app with MY payment. Online while checking out on the app it gives the option of a tip. I chose no tip at that point. I'll tip when I see service. I send my daughter to pick up the food "car side". She waits for the food. No one comes out so I tell her to go in and grab it. My daughter goes in to grab the order, the women prints out a receipt expecting my daughter to fill out a tip. My daughter feels uncomfortable, puts in a tip which is My payment method not my daughters so I'm forced to pay a tip for bad service. My daughter said this lady stood over her watching her fill out the tip amount on the receipt. I paid online which means no signature required but this employee pretty much forced my daughter to write a tip on MY PAYMENT METHOD which I did NOT authorize. and required a signature. This is so wrong!! Same thing happened again. I paid with a gift card but the restaurant required my daughter to sign a receipt on a gift card and once again no car side to go. Are you you looking to get sued? This is the second time that my daughter felt violated. We're not at give a refund, we're at lawsuit. YOUR COMPANY IS MAKING US FEEL EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO US. I AM CAUTIOUS OF THE FOOD AND THEY WON'T EVER BRING IT...
