Great addition to Northfield! This is the best pizza in town, the sour dough crust is delicious. I ordered the pepperoni (because you cannot judge a pizza place without first trying that) and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and quality of the pie. We cannot wait to have the buffalo chicken one next! French fries were awesome, the tallow must be the difference because it was yummy and unique, almost brought me back to a time before the unhealthy seed oils took over. I recently stopped by Folino’s Pizza and, unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The pizza had plenty of toppings, but the overall flavor just didn’t come together—it lacked the taste and quality I was hoping for. The chicken wings were also disappointing, with a texture and seasoning that didn’t do them any favors. The fries also seemed to be coated in enough thick salt to melt the icey roads in winter.

On a more positive note, the seating was okay—comfortable enough for a quick bite—and the service was decent. The staff was polite and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

Best pizza I've had in years! Definitely not Chicago style, though - Folinos pizza has a thin, flexible crust. A lot of variety in toppings: all the regular favorites plus pesto, artichoke hearts, buffalo cauliflower and even plant-based sausage, if you're looking for something different. Their fries are crispy but still have a fluffy center and I think their ketchup is made in-house. I can't eat dairy, so I am beyond thrilled that this restaurant offers vegan cheese as an option.
