My fiancé, sister and brother in law and I were in Atlantic City for a comedy show, we decided to try the taproom for dinner before the show, which was at 10pm. Making a reservation online was easy and fast. Our reservation was at 7:45, we arrived around 7:50 were seated immediately on the outside patio. It took nearly 10 minutes for our table to be greeted and get our orders in. There was live music, who were okay but the volume was very loud, it was impossible to carry a conversation. Our alcoholic beverages, appetizers, Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail and bread for the table arrived at a reasonable time. It wasn’t until 9:20 when we had to flag down a manager to box up our food. After speaking with the manager, she seemed very unconcerned with our time crunch and the wait. Our server brought the check and our boxes over right away. We ended up eating our dinners with our hands in the car before our show since they didn’t provide silverware. We had ordered the king prime rib, 8oz filet, chicken and salmon. King prime rib and filet were good size meats and tasted well. Salmon was dry and over cooked we also found a rather large bone in the fish. The side of mashed potatoes had clearly been sitting long since my brother in law was able to pick it up...
Read moreGreat experience hosting an event at AC Country Club! Special thanks to Patty and Paul who were communicative, friendly, thorough, and just great to work with! Also thank you to Luz and Ashley who made our group feel so welcome! The venue is stunningly beautiful in every space you walk through. Having only been there in the summer, I was surprised that it was even more beautiful in the winter. My only note would be that their team seems really focused on weddings right now, especially with a couple venues in the area recently closing. If you are having a non-wedding event here, I would say just make sure you understand who to call when you have a question or need something, there didn't seem to be one point person dedicated to our small event. Otherwise couldn't have been better. Thank you AC...
Read moreI am intrigued that all but two of the reviews date back 5 years or more. Perhaps the ACCC is deleting the more recent ones that tell the truth?
Friend and I played 3 rounds in AC area May 2013: ACCC, Ballamor and Twisted Dune.
ACCC was by far the worst. Shabby facilities, poorly maintained fairways, bunkers, and greens, swarms of annoying flying insects, and "seaside views" that turned out to be a huge swamp with the unremarkable AC skyline in the distance. No matter WHAT you hear or read, the Emperor has no clothes, and he is charging a preposterous green fee to see him.
Stay away from ACCC and play Ballamor instead. Excellent course and a relative bargain. Ballamor's owners just bought ACCC so perhaps they will turn it around, but until they do, ACCC will do nothing...
