Luigi's Italian Carryout — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

It was our 1st time ordering and they made a mistake and gave us an individual salad instead of the family salad. They graciously offered to deliver the correct salad to us which I greatly appreciated. As for the food…. I am pretty fussy when it comes to Italian food and I was IMPRESSED! We ordered the family sized spaghetti with meat sauce and 2 orders of the Tuscan Chicken Florentine. The meat sauce had great flavor and the perfect amount of seasoning and acid and the chicken florentine was amazing. Their bread was very good and their house dressing is obviously homemade and top notch. I live in a neighborhood nearby and it is great to see a restaurant so close by that is locally owned. I will definitely be supporting this business and highly recommend it to anyone looking for high quality...

Stopped in on Saturday 4/12/25 around 5:30 after work to pick up an order my wife placed. We had never tried them before but people in my company have been raving about them. When I went in to pick up the order I made a joke to the awesome girls at the counter saying “ will this pizza be picture worthy?” And the very nice owner laughed and said “ every time!”. After that the owner and I talked about the area we were in, how excited he is to be there and little did I know his family has a full sit down fancy Italian restaurant in Livonia that been in business for over 25 years. Saw all the positive reviews and had to try it, since it was so close to us. Very disappointed. Ordered a round supremo pizza, and a greek salad. The pizza is a thinner crust, edges were burnt and the rest of the crust was tough. The bacon was very smokey and overpowered the entire pizza. Cheese? Very little. Couldn't really taste the sauce but luckily we ordered extra. The greek salad was large with a decent amount of ingredients, but the dressing was average. We also ordered spaghetti with marinara which was fine but the bread that came with it was tasteless. Everything except for the salad tasted like leftovers.
