Cooper Hill Pizzeria — Restaurant in Northwood

Here is my HONEST review. My wife and I went after a recommendation. The food was awesome BUT not homemade. The bar area was very nice and welcoming. NOW the only thing that ruined the entire meal. I sat through 30 minutes of the Kelly Pickler show and then the NEWS came on. With everything going on, I WAS watching the news. There were 2 other full-size TVs on with football shows on. THEN the Man Bun Manager came in and started cleaning the bar and getting things done. The next thing I knew, he changed the channel to ANOTHER football station. YES, I like football BUT I WAS watching the NEWS. He never asked if anyone was watching or if there was something else someone wanted to watch other than the NEWS. I asked him what was going on and he stated "We usually don't have the News on. Well, how about ASKING if someone was watching it!!!!! He never asked if I wanted it back on and seemed to not care what I wanted. Excuse Mr. Man Bun. MY business PAYS YOUR SALARY! ASK the customer before you change something they may be interested in! He then would not make eye contact and would not apologize. As I said, an HONEST review. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars across the board BUT the blatant disregard for the customer sincerely tainted my desire to make a return trip. Sadly. The bartender was good. Not very attentive after we got our first drink. We had to ask if we could order something. Really nice place. Maybe I was expecting too much but after working all day and looking forward to a good meal, it just really pissed me off at the way I was treated by a manager whose job it is to train and teach other employees how NOT to...

Very long time customer, since they opened back in original location. Always liked the owners, staff and food but had a bad experience with a staff member. I Placed an order for delivery. The driver calls me, can't find my house. 20 min later and I call him. He's in another town. I again give him directions to a store on rt 4 and tell him to call me when he's there. 16 min later he calls me again. Miles away from my house. Frustrated, after working with driver for 40 to 44 min, I just tell him to take food back, I no longer want it. I call the store and a young girl answers...I tell her I no longer want my order as I think the driver may be in a different state now 😎 she tells me to hold on and I hear her say, " I've got some "guy" on the phone....I'm a customer, not some guy...and he's saying our driver is in a different state, I don't know what the F he's talking about" All I can say is wow. Incredibly unprofessional....

Edit: the owner actually reached out to me and we had a nice talk. I explained it wasn't really the delivery that got me, but the staff member who answered my call. He assured me he would look into it further so my confidence has been restored. Thanks Shawn for taking the time to call me. Wish I had my customers phone numbers...

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here today. After being seated, we waited for 15 minutes before even getting a drink order in. It seemed the waitress was very busy so we were trying to give her a break so she could take her time. When she finally did come over, she was not friendly and looked exhausted and flustered. We didn't get her name and our interaction was rushed and brief and as if we were bothering her. We got our drinks probably another 10 minutes later and put our food order in at that time. After three more tables were seated and waited on, we needed refills and were ignored completely after trying to flag down the waitress. The last table to be seated got their food before we got our appetizer and this is when my patience started to run out. I had to ask the host to get me our tab for the drinks because our waitress was no where to be found. We were there for about 50 minutes to an hour...
