Tried this place for the first time since being the old "Downtown". I was not impressed to say the least. Not much has changed. The decor on the walls have changed and the bar is much smaller. The set up is the same with a small footprint. The staff was nice, but too over the top. Asked 10 times if I needed more soda. The food was not that good. Tried the pizza sampler. Glad I did not order more. The only pizza that was just ok was the cheese. But that was quite doughy. The crab rangoon pizza was too sweet and no real crab....not good. Expensive for what you get. Read moreFirst stop to the newly renovated Downtown Public House. I like that they kept some of the features of the original Downtown both on the interior and the menu. The pizza is similar to the original Downtown but is definitely improved. I love that they have a pizza sampler, allowing you to try mini versions of any 3 pizzas.
