804 Main Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Norwalk

We have gone to 804 Main Bar & Grill several times. The food is usually good but the service is very slow and makes it not worth the visit. We went last week and there were only a handful of people there and we were there an hour and a half for some chicken strips and a cheese burger and my chicken was overcooked to the point it did not taste good. We didn't get offered 1 refill of our drinks and sat with nothing to drink for over an hour. We have gone several times, hoping we just visited on a bad day when they were short staffed last minute. More times than not, we waited an exceptionally long time and have to ask for our check when we've waited 20 minutes...

Food has never disappointed and I've ate there at least 20 times. The cook named Jeremy takes pride in the food he sends out of the kitchen and the staff bartending and waiting tables are attentive and personable. If you are a frequent visitor, you don't have to tell them your drink order, they'll have it ready by the time you sit down.

There's also this extremely good looking biker dude who never fails to be hanging at the bar in the evenings. Long beard and fully tatted, highly recommend sitting next to him and asking him to tell you some of his famous "Possum" stories for guaranteed laughs and...

We like it there. Bar food is on-point and love the atmosphere! The service? Yikes! When you're there on a Wednesday afternoon for beers and an appetizer with 10 people in the place, they got ya! Stopped in for food on a recent Saturday night at 10:45 (Google says they're serving until midnight) and they have 40 people in the place with 4 bartenders/servers, we sat at the bar for over 15 minutes with empty beers until someone noticed.
