The restaurant is new in town, but it doesn't disappoint. Tortillas can be handmade, food is really good and the staff was super friendly. The kitchen isn't covered, so you are able to see what's going on behind the scenes.
Most of the menu items are affordable (between $10 and $20). I had fajitas with handmade tortillas on my visit. I do have to admit they were somewhat pricey ($35) but they are able to feed two people. But if that sounds like a lot, they literally sell dishes that are almost like fajitas but they are served with white rice for half the price.
They got an A rating by the department of health, which they display in front of their store. The place is clean and the team seems to take hygiene seriously.
The only two things I can suggest to the restaurant is to decrease the menu size and adding rosemeat (suadero) as an option for tacos. I've heard that most start up restaurants fail due to the amount of items offered on the menu. I've heard something along the lines of "the more items you have, the more expensive is to keep the business running." Rosemeat is a meat option that is rare to see in taco establishments, so it may become a reason for people to visit your store.
Overall, this is a family business that deserves support! They seem to be putting the work to stand out. I wish them nothing but success in the future and I look forward to visiting...
Read moreBest and most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. It has been a while since I’ve left a review, because food in Orange County is pretty good everywhere. This little hole in the wall restaurant is the treasure you foodies have been looking for. I did not know beans and Mexican rice could taste so good. My kids went back and asked for seconds on them, and the lady working the kitchen gave them as much as they wanted, no extra charge. The crunch tacos weren’t greasy, the shredded meat was so flavorful and perfectly juicy and shredded, the sauce was so good I kept taking spoonfuls of it after my meal was done, and everyone talked about that meal after we left. Go here before the word gets out how good they are and while you can get in the door. It’s a tiny place, easy to miss. I should have taken pictures, but everyone ate so fast, no one stopped to take pictures for...
Read moreI'm going to leave an honest review first, and foremost, their prices are ridiculous. I think the reviews they have on here are fake.
I paid $32.00 💸for 2 burritos, and there was no way I was going to pay for water the fact that they didn't have filtered water was just weird. I was expecting the best burrito in the world for that price and ended up with a mouth full of salt they didn't offer any side hot sauce or jalapeños I had to ask.
Next time I go to a restaurant and the prices are not up, I'll make sure to walk away. 🌯🚫 I would have thrown away the burrito if I wasn't so hungry now that my stomach is really regretting it.
Look NO PRICES ON THE MENU. 👀...
