McDonald's — Restaurant in Norwalk

I live very close by so it’s very convenient to go grab a bite to eat however ever since I’ve lived in Norwalk and have gone there I’ve had many issues. Tonight being one of those nights, I went to get a crispy chicken deluxe and all that came on it was the chicken and lettuce… that’s it. No sauce no tomato, just a dry chicken patty accompanied by lettuce that didn’t even make it on the sandwich, it was sprinkled around the sandwich as if it was garnish It’s almost insulting that these people want to be paid more an hour and can’t even do something as simple as put stuff on a sandwich (which I paid extra for) and do their jobs properly. I have worked in the food industry before and Ik the many struggles of working in a fast paced environment while trying to keep customers happy however this isn’t the case. We were very polite to everyone we dealt with and there was two people in front of us and one pulling while we were up at the window so there shouldn’t be any excuse as to why they couldn’t have made it properly. If they were out of something then I would completely understand however they should’ve communicated that to us and I would have been more than happy to order something else. I've yet to have a great experience here. One time I sat at the drivethru waiting to order for like 10 minutes and nobody ever came over the the PA to take my order. So I left. They were open. Just dead.

Other times the drivethru is extremely slow. "Fast" food? Not so much.

Not to mention the kids they hire, the attitudes they openly display towards and in front of customers is unacceptable and unprofessional. I did these kinds of thankless low-pay jobs as a kid. I worked at Arby's briefly, at the Southridge 12 Movie Theatre, and Toys R Us. No matter what you get paid, or how short staffed you are you should take pride in yourself, and the work that you do. I always treated customers with respect and did everything I could to help them. I wasn't out to make their day worse, they are just people coming in to spend their own hard earned money and don't deserve to get treated like dirt simply because a worker who applied for and asked for their job to treat them like an inconvenience.

This McDonald's is horrible I order a meal and ask for a small drink and when I pull to the window I ask the cashier did she get a small drink on that order she "stated" the small and the medium are the same price "which we all no it is not" so she said would you like me to change it to a small "I said yes"then she ask would you like a recipe" I said yes" she then give me my card and hurry up and run to the front with receipt in hand so I pull to the second window still inquiring about my receipt BECAUSE I JUST KNOW SHE CHEATED ME .. 5mins later the second teller come back with receipt and 2 dollars and some change in hand so I politely ask for a refund so I give back my card and she then come back with my card and a receipt that say refund so fast forward 2 days later I call the McDonald's because I didn't get my refund the manager tell me that I need to drive all the way back to the McDonald's in norwalk ia and show her my bank statement so she can see that I didn't get the refund this place lack accountability so I will be...
