New Canaan Deli — Restaurant in Norwalk

Watch your credit card receipts! This establishment charges amounts HIGHER than what the cash register calls for, in violation of the law. When asked about the discrepancy, their response is that the "company" charges them for every transaction. The register called for a total of 21.79, including tax, but they charged me 22.66. Multiply that by the number of customers this busy deli serves, and the fact that many customers do not check their receipts, and that amounts to a significant amount of money that this business is NOT entitled to. It is a violation of the law to add that charge directly onto a customer's credit card in excess of what is stated on the cash register. Will NEVER set foot in this...

A very average experience. The sandwich was a little small for the price ($13) for a small sandwich on a small wedge. The sandwich itself was OKAY. Not the worst but not the best either. Better places exist and please go there.

Overall the atmosphere is nice. Clean and has plenty of space and tables to eat at. Easy parking in a good sized lot. BUT....
