Whiskey & Wine Saloon — Restaurant in Norway

Outstanding! If you're into a laid back, fun place, then Whiskey & Wine Saloon is for you. Just across from Indiana Beach, this place has all the typical bar food and spirits, but served with a flair by Salena and Sarina. These ladies make the visit all the more fun. And the pizza is great too; thick crust, home made. This coming from a deep-dish Chicago boy. If you're looking for white cloth, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for an experience delivered by folks who God put on Earth to make someone else's day, then Whiskey & Wine Saloon is for you. Wish there were more joints like this around Chi-Town.

Went back a few more times, visiting Monticello. Did not disappoint. Everything above...

I will start by saying AWESOME..!!!! The pizza is the best ANYWHERE in white county . If you want a cheeseburger you will not find a better burger. We tried a lot of different menu items to get a real feel for the food and everything was simply amazing. The mozzarella sticks , the fried mushrooms , the onion rings where cooked perfectly all being golden brown . The best part of all is we live out by C&C beach and they deliver out here. Being disabled and hard to get around this is a major convenience and is greatly appreciated. I couldn’t think of anything I could have expected to have been better , thank you and you will be receiving a lot more business...

Had a great time at this place! Lots of fun! The mechanical bull was fun to watch and the live bands were great. The drinks were well made and very tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bathrooms were suprisingly clean and properly functioning. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is because the floors and decor was extremely rough and not really saloon themed. Linoleum floors that are very battered and tore up and safety hazards of different height floors and stairs without railings even. Absolutely would love to see the flow upgraded and maybe some upgraded floor coverings would...
