China Moon — Restaurant in Norwich

I have ordered from here multiple times. The owner and I had always got along. Well, today was absolutely terrible. I was very upset. I placed an order and she was yelling at me when I questioned her about the order total. It came out to $60.10. I thought that was a bit more than what I thought I should have paid. But I am not sure if they charge a delivery fee or not. But regardless of the total we had to wait over an hour and half before the food was delivered. It has never taken that long. At the most in the past 40 minutes. I called several times asking where my order was. The daughter said they were trying their best to get it to me. By the time I got the food it was in between cold and warm. The food was over cooked, burnt and tasted terrible. The sauces I asked for was suppose to be the same size. I have ordered the same order every time and the last two times the duck sauce is in a much smaller container. She called me to let me know they put the soy sauce in the side of the bag. I spoke to her about how upset I was and what was wrong with the order and all it was I am sorry. Her apology did not seem sincere. Then when I spoke to her daughter twice to find out where my order was she was screaming in the background. Then when the delivery men got here they said she had just called him to have him come in. That is ridiculous. At that time I had already been waiting over an hour. Oh, and the sauce had spilled out of the container and was...

I called and the Indian woman on the other end was extremely rude for no reason and when I said to please put soy sauce and duck sauce she sighed and said" how many do you want?" In the most condescending voice ever but I STILL stayed polite and I said two of each and she put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back to say the total which was higher than expected and when i said nevermind I need to cancel the order she screamed at me saying the chef started it already saying "ma'am ma'am why is it you cancel this order!?" Over n over like holy shyd. Chef Ramsey needs to come here and show them what customer service looks like. I literally peeped all these other bad reviews and the (owner) account writes back with counter arguments for if they said they didn't like something 😂😂😭😭 I remember 10-15 years ago when China moon had the best food around always hot and delicious delivered quickly but somewhere along the way they got new management and it is a shyt...

I can overlook a mistake and not feel compelled to leave a bad review, but today this place served me rotten shrimp for lunch. It smelled like rotten food in there when I went to pick up my order, that should've been enough of a red flag. But, I bit into a shrimp and immediately noticed it was mushy and had the tang of fermentation. I'm hoping I spit it out in time to not get ill from it, but hours later the taste is still in my mouth. I'd enjoyed the garlic shrimp lunch specials here in the past reasonably enough. I won't chance going back though. Serving bad seafood is irresponsible, dangerous and disrespectful to your customers. I'm bummed I wasted the $10. I'll be more bummed if I end up violently ill. I called to tell them to hopefully spare someone else from eating bad seafood and was told I'd get a call back. That didn't happen.
