I have been going to Taftville Pizza since the day they opened their doors. The owner, Saad, was at first helpful and seemingly competent. As of lately, he has been the exact opposite. I tried to call to have my new phone number put onto my rewards account and take off my old phone number and he gave me so much hassle and anxiety over dealing with the situation. I initially called on 11/30/2024 and it is now 12/7/2024 and he promised that he would call back that day or the next day with everything fixed with my account and he never did. Now today, he has been talking in circles, asking me questions and then talking over me when I tried to answer, repeating questions and not understanding anything Iâve explained, even if I had explained in detail and just generally not being helpful and not fixing my problem. Which the problem to begin with was changing my phone number on their rewards account with Toast and with something that simple, he gave me a very hard time doing, and Iâve been a loyal customer since day one. He then suggested that I cash out anyway without adding rewards to my account and I told him that I wonât do that. I deserve to collect rewards or use rewards like every other customer. He then said he would sort it out with Toast and call me back. He called back and claimed that he fixed everything and added more points to my rewards account, but I could not login with my new number that he supposedly added to my account and he kept talking in circles and would not fix the issue and then told me to wait another day or two after I had already been waiting over a week. That is not the kind of experience any customer wants to have. Nor is it the way an owner should treat his loyal, returning customers.
UPDATE: 12/16/2024: The owner is more focused, more interested in debating, arguing and justifying his mistakes with his loyal customers. He did not call me back as he promised, he never fixed the issue as he promised and the account still will not transfer credits. He replied back to my comment just to dent what he did, or didnât do. Without offering a real solution to my problems. He certainly deserves the 1 star review! 0 if it were possible....
Read moreThis is the third time we try because is the closest place to our home and it is said that âthird time is a charmâ but NEVER again! Is a total disappointment EVERY TIME and a waste of our hard worked money. We simply wanted a nice family meal and spend it at home with our daughter and as a birthday gift she wanted pizza. They were really nice on the phone and even helped with a coupon that wouldnât go through when online ordering. It was our first time ordering with a coupon there. We got a large family meal. But sadly to say that the pizza was soggy, the appetizer we chose was tenders with French fries and the fries were salty and soggy as well. We also got a Chicken Alfredo Italian dinner which was a great amount but the pasta was very dry and had no Alfredo sauce and it had no type of taste. It even seemed like they forgot to add the sauce to begin with. The side salad had some bad lettuce and huge pieces of onions and peppers. They also forgot my daughterâs honey mustard for her tenders. I swear the only good thing that had good taste was the tenders out of EVERYTHING we got. I want to cryđ˘ How many mistakes can you make on just ONE persons order? Will NEVER happen again!!! My daughter was not having it and I feel so bad. We are so disappointed!!! Iâm tired of calling them every time we order for them to fix it and then expect us to go and pick it up when we had delivery in the first place and gave tip. Itâs not fair that people get this type of service just because they decide to be messy and lazy. If you want great tasting food, good service and great quality PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD...

Ordered a scallop and bacon calzone. Shouldn't be a problem but they seem to confirm putting frozen scallops in the calzone cuz when it arrived the whole bottom of the calzone was so wet and flimsy it fell apart.
I put everything back into the calzone, flipped it over and put it in oven on 400 degrees for 15minutes. Crust came out perfect so I thought it was good, but as I cut it and started to place on plate it poured water out again. Back to a sloppy mess.
Tullis! All you had to do was prep the scallops as you normally would in a pan or oven then make the calzone and add. You proved that you're pulling out frozen scallops so you can't even claim using fresh seafood... poor attempt on a meal that was $20 plus $5 delivery.. shame on you all for not using common sense in the quality you send out. If I could post the video of the sloppiness and flood of water dripping out I would. Guess that's my other critique.
Ordered a pulled pork calzone. Wasn't sure they'd do it but they did.
Asked for their pigs n pickles sauce (qty. 2 sauce), but what I got was straight up bbq sauce. Also asked for a side of cole slaw. What I got had zero mayo, vinegar, etc. This was straight up dry cabbage in a cup.
Kind of expected what I asked and paid for... got...
