Visiting the east coast, we thought we had to try out DD at least once. Boy were we wrong. I been to a Walmart with staff more knowledgeable staff about their offerings. The DD staff at this location could not answer a simple question as to how much more does a deluxe dozen cost and just repeat verbatim what is already posted on the menu above the wall which states "there is extra up charge". Without certainty of knowing the total, we decided to keep it simple and ordered two dozens of the classics with a posted price. As the donuts are being packed, out of curiosity, I asked if their dozen were baker's dozen. I get a confused facial expression and was told that their dozens are twelve but they are baked fresh at the restaurant. Okay... Good to know. We took our two boxes of donuts and left to go back to our hotel. When we got back to the hotel and ready to enjoy the yummy freshly baked donuts, we found out the hard way that DD dozen actually means 9 in one box and 10 in the other box. Imagine the disappointment when we had 18 people to feed breakfast to. Luckily each person got to experience one DD donuts, and it was not bad, but I'm not sure if I would ever see the DD brand and want to have another one again based on this first and truly negative customer experience, not to mention a total failure to delight a first time visiting tourist customer. At best, the staff did not know how to count, at worst, they decided to take advantage of tourists that they don't think will see again, for a gain of 5 donuts, really? How does that help their job and their store's reputation in the days of internet and social media? Truly sad day for...
Read moreThis place is awful. Terrible service every time, ridiculous wait times, orders always wrong. Went yesterday and the drive through took 20 minutes start to finish, and two of my four coffees were wrong. Today, I ordered a coffee and pulled away and discovered they made it wrong (as usual), so I turned around and went back through the drive through. I told the speaker box girl that I just came through and there's no sugar in my coffee. She told me to pull to the window and she would give me sugar packets. I pulled to the window and the dude tried to give me sugar packets. I told him I'm not making a mess in my car by doing that I would like him to take the coffee back and put the sugar in inside. He told me they can't take the coffee back inside. So I said fine, I would like you to remake my coffee. He told me he can do that and just to pull up, so I did. He then came out and asked me how my coffee was made to remake it. When he brought my remade coffee and handed it to me and started walking away, he then turned around and asked if it was okay and if he could go back inside now. I told him they make it wrong all the time no matter what it is and it's ridiculous. He told me next time it happens, the smart thing to do would be to come inside. I told him it's raining and if they made my coffee correctly the first time there wouldn't be a problem. Absolutely absurd, will not be going...
Read moreI stopped by this Dunkin about a half hour ago and ordered a medium hot coffee between 3:30-4pm on Saturday 10/27. I get to the window and hand over my card, receive my coffee, and waited for my card. The young woman comes back to the window with my card, she looked at me, then looked at her coworker, then looked back at me, while holding my card . I go to reach out for my card, but the young woman then looks at her co-worker / manager etc. Her co-worker/manager grabs the card from the young woman, and then hands me my card. This woman that took the card to then hand to me, says with an attitude, " she's pregnant and can't reach out the window, because you are parked too far". . . She gives me my card, states this with an attitude, rolls her eyes and then shuts the window. I was so confused because I did not understand why I had my arm reached out the window to get my card, and I'm waiting for the lady to give me my card, and then she snatches the card from fellow employee to hand to me and talk to me with such an attitude like I did something wrong. This person in particular needs a training on proper customer service, because if this is how she always interacts with her customers, I don't think she will move up or remain employed with this business/ or ant...
