Met family who were staying at the Inn for dinner. Menu is American and pub oriented to go with the beers they brew across the street. We got a collection of dishes from fish and chips to a chicken banh mi, to a gnocchi. Their soup was a corn chowder so we tried that too. Portions were generous and everything tasted good. Our server - Morgan - was a hoot and made the dinner very enjoyable.

The place has a lot of character and history but the food was bland and expensive. The service was professional and courteous. The selection of beer and wine was satisfactory but nothing to rave about. Making a reservation also seemed a bit more complicated than necessary given there were open tables the entire time we dinned.

Our server, Morgan made our dining experience here so wonderful and pleasant. She greated us at the dining table with a positive energy and made sure that we were looked after while dining. They don't have many vegetarian options but we were happy with the couple of dishes that we ordered.

My husband and I took my parents out here for a Mother’s Day dinner. I really wish we had gone somewhere else- for the price we paid the meals were NOT worth that cost. The fish and chips, Mushroom burger and warm Brussel salad were all just fine (nothing to write home about). However, the most disappointing was my husband’s filet minion. It was maybe about a 2oz serving for $40. He also asked for an alternative to the side a butternut squash, which he still received on his plate. It was fine since it’s not an allergy or anything, but his “substitute” of a side was meant to be some fingerling potatoes and it looked and tasted like day old breakfast potatoes that had been reheated. We knew from previous reviews it may be hit or miss, and unfortunately our experience was definitely a miss and we do not plan to ever...

Staff was nice, food was meh at best. Drinks took longer than necessary on a slow Sunday night. We started with the pretzel sticks which were delicious. For the mains, we ordered two salmons which were delicious. A salad with chicken that was expensive when compared to the ingredients on the plate. The last was a Sheppards pie that had so much liquid in it, that it looked like unprocessed baby food. That dish was suppose to come with brussel sprouts on the side. We got a tiny dish with 9 marble sized sprouts. Yes, we counted. The dish was tiny and the amount of brussel sprouts barely filled it. That dish was sent back due to its less than appeasing look and taste, and was replaced with a main course salad the size of a side salad and was still $18. Won’t be returning...

While traveling on business we stopped for a quick lunch mid afternoon. Had a couple beers and before you know it decided to spend the night instead of driving south. Bar food was good, everyone friendly. Met a local who invited us to see maple syrup being boiled down. Called on the way back since we needed dinner and the kitchen was closing. The staff told us they would wait don't worry. Clean room, exactly what I hoped for in a B&B. Breakfast was also good in the dining room. Will be back...
