Best local “Brazilian Steak House” around. Small buffet of 10 items or so and then racks of meat to pick from. Around 10 different types to pick from. (Marinated or not, multiple cuts of beef, sausage, chicken, pork, etc).
Cafeteria style (tray) and pay by the pound makes it a very cost effective way to have excellent flame cooked meats. My mouth is watering just writing this review it is that good.
Don’t be surprised by the hole in the wall “look” or the fact it is in a mini plaza shared with a dry cleaner. Just keep telling yourself, I am going for the food .... after your first bite of steak, you will be in HEAVEN and the world around you will be gone.
Clean plates and silverware... great people.
How it works - go through the line getting your food, tell the cooks what steak, chicken, pork you want, they give you a weight receipt, grab a drink or ask for a beer, then grab a seat and eat, go back up as many times as you want collecting weight receipts, after your done go to the cashier and give them all your weight receipts and tell them what you drank.
It is cost effective but easy to spend a lot if you order a lot.
Tip - As it is buffet, you will want to go there around lunch or dinner rush to ensure you get the freshest food. Mon-Fri lunch time is packed plan...
Read moreAt first glance I did not have high hopes for this place. As you walk in you get a kind of old school sub shop vibe. There's a buffet where you grab either a plate or a to go container and load up on whatever sides you want. From there you wait in line for the grill. This takes a while because there's no sign telling you what they have ready to slice and put on your plate so they basically say over and over again what your options are. Once you've got your food from the grill you weigh your plate and they give you a slip with your bill on it. You take that bill, grab a drink, and sit down. The back room is a little more upscale than the old school sub shop vibe of the first room but not by a lot. Here's where we get to the food... The chicken thighs and hearts were fantastic, The steak was juicy and delicious, and the sides were amazing. If I were grading this place strictly on flavor it would get 5 stars. Unfortunately, the difficult aspect of ordering what you want for meats brings it down to a 4 star. The ambiance wasn't anything great but it was clean and inviting so there was no effect on the final score due to that. Definitely check this place out. The pay per pound cost makes it a great place for...
Read moreLimited selection. Fresh barbeque cooking in front of guests. Nice friendly staff. One of the comments mentioned that this is a buffet. It is not a buffet but a create your own meal and pay per pound like Lambert's Market in Westwood; currently @ 6.00/lb as of Nov. 2017. To go box, I paid 19.00 total for 2 thin slices of steak each the size of an adult's palm, 8 thin slices of 1 1/2" kielbasa sausage , and 6 pieces of baby drumsticks bone-in. I figured if paying per pound might as well get my money's worth so I grabbed the hefty meaty food and left the heavy sides like the starchy veggies and rice alone. Once home I cooked my own side dishes and rice for a lot cheaper. Hey if you're looking to budget and get good cooked meat...
