Quatman Cafe — Restaurant in Norwood

I live 5 houses down from this awesome establishment. As always, the food is AMAZING and the service was great. Our waitress was awesome as always. So you may be wondering why the one star. The bald guy who works “every other Saturday” is the rudest person I have ever encountered at a restaurant. He is a miserable person. We ordered our food and the waitress told us that the garden burger was part of the special. So when our bill came out to much more than expected we asked him and he just angrily said it wasn’t part of the meal special. We told him the waitress said it was and he says word for word “ well too bad it’s not she was wrong” and charged us and got us out the door. I came in and asked for a manager who said he would happily refund it because the waitress said she told us it was a special. So the same angry bald man starts the refund and tells me it will only be a dollar refund. This is way wrong but I tell him not to worry about it. I mean, I understand most Xavier fans are miserable people, but this guys goes far beyond that. I used to come her 3 times a week. This was a terrible experience. I definitely won’t be here on the 25th, which is the next day this miserable human being works, and I may not be in at all with the sour taste this left in my mouth. It is no longer worth the 30...

This is an excellent restaurant if you want to be ignored while your food gets cold in the window.

Seriously, I don't normally give bad reviews for service. I was a waiter for most of my career and I know it's a hard job, but my server genuinely could not have cared less about me or my order. I watched her eat her own meal and have little conversations with everyone in the restaurant while ignoring my food for twenty minutes. I was staring at the bag thinking "I hope that isn't my food. "

It was. Eventually the other server felt bad and brought it to me, but then I still had to wait another ten minutes for my server to remember I existed and cash me out.

Love eating a cold $14 burger and fries. Yum.

When I walked in I was confused if it was a seat yourself situation or wait to be seated so I sat at the bar. I was greeted by a man and I asked him if there were any specials that day and he said "no". I asked if they had Mic Ultra on tap and he said "only in bottles". I got the Mic Ultra and a Pepsi and looked at the menu that I had to request. At that moment I seen they did have a Saturday special. I ordered the special for the day. Once my food was delivered they never came back to check on me, I was glad I ordered 2 beverages at that point. The food was really good, but the service was not. The cheeseburger was an excellent size for the price. It was full of flavor and juices. The fries were cooked perfectly and were shoestring style.
